  • Roxy, what do you do after you stamp and finger paint the butterfly, do you cut it away from the rest or use as is with all the rest. Please repeat the kind of paint. Cream paint right.,, Barb

  • You are so very welcome! Thank you so much for your sweet comments they mean a lot to me! HUGS Rosanne

  • Roxy, this is the first time my friend and I have seen you. We watched 5-6 of your videos right away and loved your techniques. Thanks for showing us how to make homemade products on your other videos. You are right that some supplies are really expensive!!! We have subscribed to your channel and will be watching you often :)

  • Love this:) you are way too funny with your captions. You do a fantastic job and your videos are always a pleasure to watch. Thanks :)

  • this is awesome...love the use of the acetate and the UTEE...tfs

  • My nails are always inky and sticky with glue. When I watch women doing these inky videos with perfect nails I think that is not reality!!! I love both of these techniques - thanks for posting - I enjoy your videos.

  • love your techniques and videos, will have to try both butterflies, love them. Hugs. Patt

  • Dear Roxyfur,

Okay, I'm having a brain fart....

    Paste?

  • Thank you Rosanne! I am a bit confussed on what brand of acetate you use as everytime i try to heat mine it melts and curls and turns brown. I always thought it was operator error but i've never gotten it near hot enought to melt utee so i'm obviously using the wrong product. Thanks for the beautiful creations, continue to make the world a more beautiful place!!

    ~Jill

  • I loved the glitter in the Utee. Is it holographic? The sparkles were very visible in the video. I have seen many videos where the camera has problems picking up on the sparkle -- but not yours! Thanks for sharing --Dera

  • great techniques, thanks so much for the tutorials. will be digging out my beads tonight :)

  • THis is amazing!

    Love it :)

  • too cool for words! awesome tutorial!!! :D

  • Rosanne...I've always shyed away from the larger bit of beads etc...but now that I've seen this tutorial...........I'm going to try this!!! :c) I have a larger jar of Utee that is just sitting right now. I can use it for way more than flowers! :c)

The other Butterfly...oh MY!! So neat!!! I'd of never thought to use my rubber stamp to make an impression in the Utee. I also would of thought the acetate would melt some....I may be brave to try this~ lol Thanks so much Queen of Creativity!

  • Hi rosanne,

Just a little question : don't the acetate twist or curl with the heatgun? or it depends on the thickness of the sheet? thank you for this tutorial

  • two fabulous techniques thanks for sharing your creativity I love the embedded butterfly the best, the possibilities could be endless using found objects and may kinds of different stamps or shapes, not only great for crafting and mini albums but also wonderful to incorporate into mixed media art projects too. I love the commentary too a very intersting and entertaining video well put together

  • Rosanne, thank you soooo much for doing this tutorial. I love it! I can't wait to try them both out! Can you tell me what type/brand of stencil paint you used on the 2nd butterfly? hugs, Arlene :-)

  • i love all ur techniques. ur so talented i cant wait to try this myself

  • Wow, thanks for sharing the technique. I'm curious as to what you used to cut out the butterfly and paper, is it a die, or a punch?

  • I really loved this technique.....now you're my "Utee Queen"! It's beautiful on the page of Arlene's mini! Hugs, Velma

  • cool! what's the paste?

  • Are you going to the expo next weekend? I am thinking of going on Friday

  • Wow Rosanne! Great tutorials! I'm going to try both of these for sure! Thanks very much for the great lessons!...Nancy :o)

  • Thanks for two great videos! Love them!! :)

  • Now I have seen this in cardstock but never transpencies... again I was ohhh ahhhh woooow!!! I only have 1 question. Is it regular transperencies or Jet printer or what kind. I would have thought the heat would have distorted and melted the trencpcy. So that is why I ask. I really am in ahhh mode over this.
