I use what is commonly referred to as mid-tracks. A normal truck is 129 to 139 millimeters from wheel to wheel. Mid-tracks are in the 100 range from wheel to wheel. My skate trucks are Ace 109's. They used to be made by Independent Truck Co., but they sold the patent to Ace Truck Co., who now make them.

Cool skating! I didn't realize there was rollerskates with h-blocks and grind-able trucks. Those skates look like they have pretty wide axles too. Did your ring catch on a screw or something? I heard of a school teacher loosing a finger from catching his ring on a basketball hoop.  Maybe I shouldn't skate with a ring on? hmm

I special make my skates so that they have grindable trucks and h-blocks. The trucks are skateboard trucks.

Yes, I caught my ring on a loose screw and it took my finger right off. Never wear jewelry when skating, especially wooden ramps; due to the number of things that can become loose and catch.

Yeah, usually skaters go either to Round Rock or to Ramp Ranch to skate on Monday night. We'd go to Mabel, except they do not light it up, or open up, at night. I may not be able to go tonight either, so next week is definitely on for me, at the Round Rock park.

gosh if i missed a trick then looked at my hand seing my finger gone id just pass out O.o well i supose u learnt a valuable lesson that day NO jewlry while skating.

oh and btw this is realy good ive never seen aggressive quading before it made me a bit dizzy to when you were doing those handplant flips you were coming out in like realy weired angles haha nice 5*

I guess you could say I learned my lesson. I'd rather have not had to learn it that way! However, it made me more mad than making me want to pass out. When it happened, I was pis$ed because it seemed like such a stupid senseless way to lose a finger.

Hawt parks, cool style you got there. Looks like fun, but tell me, is it very common to use 2x2 skates where you live? Cuz i must admit that this is the first video of a 2x2 aggressive video i have ever seen. :P 2nd question wich im asking me is: what is 9-9-8? cya takte it easy

No Khem, 2x2 skates are not common here. I've been doing it since 1988 though, so that could explain it.

9-9-8 is the date when I lost my ring finger. In this video, the very beginning part is where my finger(ring) gets caught and separates itself from my hand. Now my hand is the permanent "Shocker".

No, I can still do most everything normally, so life is still pretty good.

The fall was not that bad. The reason I lost my finger was because my wedding ring got caught on a scrue (this site blocks the real word) sticking up.

Thank you. One other good thing is that I still have the most important fingers for the majority of daily tasks. Losing a thumb would have been the worst!

Yes it would.

I've been knocked off skating before with injuries and it sucks. But, it would suck worse to not even be able to skate again!

I recommend healing fully before returning from an injury. I've seen friends END their skating career by coming back too soon after a leg injury.
