  • ummmm i cant play it it says i still have to download it

  • Does this still work? Planning to join maplestory again for 2 years i havent played.

  • Since I have windows 7, wouldn't it ask for a admin password in order to play it though?

  • w8... if u need a computer to connect ur psp/mp3/itouch w.e... then... its not portable.. f3

  • @TheJoshyNetwork dude... wtf (-_-). A portable application is anything you can play on any computer from an external hard drive (mp3, ipod, flash drive etc.) that doesnt require an installation. what did you expect to just play it in the air or something? Of course you need a computer.

  • the music rulz XD

  • @Th3R4nD0m1z3d 1 i think you just have to download the patch on the computer you got it on and delete all the files on your usb and just put all the new files back in

  • Hey dude, i've put all the files onto my memory stick (USB) but every time there is a patch, it will say error and it tells me to donwload the new version... pls help anyone!?

  • Ty =D

  • Im not stupid

    =D

  • how do u patch when ur using the usb?

  • Where do I save it on my ipod touch?

  • does it work with psp?

  • my school fucking blocks online games,

    blocking the whole server..

  • @Eduardusz

Try playing trough a SOCKS proxy.

    1. Download proxifier portable

    2. search for an SOCKS server list on google.

    3. Enter the proxy adres and port

    4. launch maple story via your USB-hard/flash drive.

    5. Have fun playing ;)

  • make sure you dnt use the nexon folder on the desktop ...takes up alot of memory

  • how much memory does it take up?

  • Whoever plays maplestory in school has no life at all....

  • Does this still work?

  • BTW u can just copy N paste ms client into a memory disk O.o

  • great now i can play maplestory in school :D

(Laptop) i dont wanna get busted >:D

  • These kinds of things are very useful actully. If I'm traveling, and I see a PC I can just plug i my USB and start playig an online game. You can do this with offline games as well, but it eats your memory stick like heck, even maplestory since they're huge files. I tried this at chool, and it works =]. No need to download, just plug in and play.

  • whens #4 coming out i love that video its so fuking funny

  • at least one gb?

can it be just 1 gb?

  • of course it can.... idiot....

  • Does It Work For PRIVATE Server?

  • Wait, will this make maplestory lag, or make it longer to run?

  • It will most likely take longer to run since it has to run it from the flash drive. Depending where you use it, lag can vary.

  • nederlands :P

  • Wow...??

Y did I even Watch this?

I thought it could be played on psp or somthing,,.U should call it~~:

    Maplestory Movible~~!!

  • there is a maplestory for DS but it currently only out in japan (i think its japan)

  • its korean~~ ^^ because korea was the first to mkae maple so they make loads of shit for maple....

  • no its korea and it hasnt even come out in korea yet sooo imagine how long its gona take us since we gota wait for korea AND japan -.-

  • atleast we know there's one out there.=p

  • Comment removed

  • No it hasn't come out in Japan yet, in fact it may be scrapped, because there hasn't been info in a while.

  • didnt work for some reason game gaurd problem oh well thanks anyway 5 stars

  • this does not really need to be explained... and i think saving the .exe file into ur usb drive, ipod or whateva uses less space than downloading it onto the usb blablabla. it isnt really THAT portable. i mean like it is soo simple to do.

  • You realize you could skip almost all these steps by simply installing the files to the portable hard drive rather than to C:\

Also, for all you grade school idiots, this isn't the portable you think it is (like the DS or anything) it's just a simple matter of having the files at hand so you don't have to install them at every computer you go to

  • Since you don't have admin controls at school, you wouldn't be able to install it, so this video basically shows us how to bypass that by having it "pre-installed."

  • depends which school you go to and where. The computers at my school let me install iTunes 8 and it runs properly. The only thing is I can only run iTunes on that computer cause the previous 7 install won't read the files on my account on the server. I haven't tried maple yet!

  • err does this work for msea as well?

  • Comment removed

  • how do you do that?

  • really? How?

  • Can You put it on your phone?

  • I have an ipod touch... how would i control character?

  • you can only play it on the computer

  • what about when you patch maple story?

  • I assume that you just select the maplestory folder on your USB drive instead of in Program Files.

  • i dont understand... so i save the nexon folder into my ipod... then i just plug my ipod into another comp? and then just play? without even downloading it

  • yea

  • whats the point of this lowong like is faster than just downloading it err somthing

  • yes

  • omg are some of u guys idiots? it works the same with other games!

  • No it doesn't. Games that write to the registry cannot be made portable this simply.

  • WHAT SONG IS THISSSS

  • Shake It By metro station

  • Lemme get this straight.

You put C:/Nexon/maplestory into your Media thingy, and whenever you go to a different computer without maplestory, you plug in Media thingy and Click the folder that holds the core of maplestory and execute the program?

  • Exactly =D

  • @lowong errr.....we thought you could play maplestory on your ipod touch or your psp.Now it makes sense when you said mp3 or memory stick.XD

Well that sucks...at least i can play this game at the library computers :D

  • Yup! Works with iTunes too (there's a little more setup to carry your music library with you though!)

  • Can't you just save it on to a flashdrive? not installing it on your comp but in the flashdrive?

  • well i wuld think so

  • So you can play it on your ipod? o-o

  • Think Linux... I like your background. I never knew you liked Linux :P

  • Linux is soooo sexy... Linux -> Vista

  • My brother used to use Ubuntu Linux... I might use it too and use Linux Mint... :P

I have vista but only for games D:

  • @lowong it doesnt work anymore. just thought i would say

  • @lowong plz give a download plox

  • Holy jeez. Nice Gillian. -- Also, long time no see/talk/hear from!

  • Does Mobile phone work?

  • cool?i hope this worksss

  • how do i do this on my ipod? my ipod only has songs..

  • TYVM

  • hey gil, long time no see

  • i dont get it, i opened it up in my ipod folder, and it just opened itunes and maplestory came up like usually, nothing happened to my ipod :(

  • Yay 10 honors xD GARTZ

  • btw does it work with maplesea too right?

  • All MapleStory region versions work because all MS have no registry

  • whoa this will be usefull for my iPod =]!

    !

  • woah wtf 1k/sec O_O

  • can u show me ur device i mean seirously how can u put it in the ipod mp3 or something?

  • wut happens when a new patch come?

do you have to re-install it?

  • just copy the new files over to the USB device.

  • Nah you just patch the game like normal :).

  • So, you can play MapleStory even on a compouter that doesn't ahev MapleStory downlaoded.

  • Does it actually work? I'm going to try on my PSP.

  • im pretty sure it wouldnt work on the PSP

  • If only that actually works over here...

I tried that a while ago, but my school computer

still won't allow it. Something with the filter.

    I guess.

    Damn filter.

  • Lol I cant use it on my ipod then lol.

  • lol nice
