How To Tie A Drop Shot Rig

@richardboro some people like to use braid and tie fluro to it...i personally like to use just fluro...any extra knot just adds weakness...and it has worked great for me..

@philly442 you shouldnt use a wide gap hook.well if your fishing weeds then a regular worm hook will work fine.if you not fishing weeds (rocks) then you should nose hook it on a drop shot hook or even a small circle hook.nore hooking gives it a great action.the best drop shot bait that ive used is a roboworm 6".GOOD LUCK!!!

@Natokowsky . texas rig the plastic that you want to use, or nose hook the bait. fishin this technique verticaly which means all your doin is gettin over the top of a ridge, or hump for example gettin right over the top off it with the boat and drop the rig down. not pickin up the weight of the rig either just real easyil shaking the bait on a semi slack line.

theres a better way to tie where the line will hold the hook out. not sure the name but the line just clamps on both side of the hook eye. Alan Fong of fun fishing at fishersman wharehouse showed me.
