I am using XP for my secondary rig, its funny because XP / DX9 is still faster than Windows 7 in pretty much everything. Only because XP is less Demanding, thats why its faster.

I like Windows 7, but that doesn't mean I would pass up a copy of XP, either. They're both good OSs from Microsoft, and each one is just preferable to your own... preferences. :P

Of course, Windows XP would be faster on today's machines because XP doesn't require that much resources as 7. Think about it, an OS with a minimum of around 64 to 256 MB of RAM, while Windows 7 requires at least 1 GB. But Windows 7 is still a good OS, and so is XP.

@BlueTechProductions yep you're 100% correct. Win7 i would say overall tho is the best OS, only because its so beautiful with the COOL GUI. its wise to have 2 rigs tho, one for xp and one for win7 :)

XP was the Best ,But Now Use Windows7! (It only Looks like Vista ,But unlike Vista, it actually Works!) ... I put Windows 7 Ultimate on old P4 with only 1gb of Ram and it was noticeably Faster and it manages Ram use a lot better!.... XP was King of the Mountain for 9 years! ( I still Use it on ancient P3 laptop with 128mb ram for a Magic Jack telephone Proxy) Good Video!...
