Yes, but there was very little chance of a big gain on that play with Tech's defensive line as good as it was, and with Cody Johnson (a RB, not a FB) in as lead blocker.
@SlyJinx: wasn't exactly a bad call. in that situation, you want to just punch it up the middle and hope to get a yard or two to have some breathing room. unfortunately for texas, tech's D-line got great penetration on that play
From an OU fan, you guys played a good game vs Texas. I watched and was happy to see someone take the Texas Longhorns down a notch. Good Game Red Raiders!
