  • too bad I cant understand french :(

  • CAN SOMEBODY PLESE TELL ME WHAT THOMAS BANGALTER SAID ? TRANSLATE PLZ

  • Ouais ! Vive le Québec ! =)

  • The sons of Gort.

  • is not a loser!! is an actor!!!and a director!! he direct: la Haine, gothika, andLes rivières pourpres!! his the Amelie guy!!

  • wheres is Guy-man ;O;??... just thomas? O_O and another loser o_o...

    Dx GUY-MANUEL!! DX

  • The "loser" is a French actor and director probably more famous than Daft Punk !

  • theres no way hes more famous then daft punk

maybe(but i still doubt it) in france but i dont know who the fuck he is

  • He's a movie director. His first movie "La Haine" (Hate) got him a César (French Oscar) for best movie in the mid-90's. He's been making more popular movies since. He's also a terrific actor who appeared in Amelie, and many other films. In other words, he is very famous. :)

  • i dont know any of those movies so hes not more famous then daft punk

  • guy-manuel..i pronounce his name (gui')..but is that the right way? ._.;

    o well, i think it's cute ^^

  • Yes you must pronounce it as 'gui' ...

And yes this is cute, Guy-Manuel is the quiet and the shy one while Thomas is the talkative one. That's probably why we cannot see Guy-Manuel in this interview. How pity...Daft Punk is not complete without Guy, even if Thomas is awesome.

  • ayeee thomas. <3

  • an accident?

  • Well in the interview it is saying that they made the movie to seem as if they took drugs without actually taking them. That was pretty much the only highlight about the interview of 'Electroma'.

  • I LOVE Mathieu Kassovitz.. woowowowowoowowow

  • who is he?

  • He is an actor/director. He plays the male leading role in Amelie!!! MY FAVORITE (french) movie!

  • cool!!!!

  • y decidimos ir allá |con mi amiga.

  • Yes, it could not be the bes movie ever, but it´s a Dadf Punk´s interpretation of reality and it´s very important for the fans just because it´s the best way to really know our Gods.

For the people that have never seen Daft Punk´s real appearence try to look 4 videos at google´s video search and tere is a vid from 1995 i think where appear the robots before the accident

  • yea if ur talking about them appearing in regular street clothes without the helmets... ive got that video on my ipod :DD

google video search it its name is this exactly:

Daft Punk Even Farther Wisconsin USA 26/05/1996

yea its an awesome video...all you see mostly is Thomas..you dont see much of the other one (complicated french name in which i dont remember it)

    yea its a great vid

  • yah the other name is guy manuel ... (i'm french, no pride to have to remember that)

    thanks for the video :D

  • wat accident y do they always hav a helment on

  • started off that they were just shy dudes... but then they soon became recognisable for the helmets.

  • yeppers xD

lol guy manuel..yep that theres one complicated french name...

  • i saw the movie, but.. the interpretation of reality?.. knowing our gods?.. man, please, explain me.. please.

  • l'Abitibi, c'est quoi ça ???

    haha

  • who wants a torrent file of daft punks electroma ha dudes

    first subscribe me !

  • thers one where we dont have to subscribe to u. all u have to do is go to google video and type in daft punk's electroma and its the full one rite there.

  • Eh, très bien! Je peux comprendre l'interview! Yay! Je pense que Daft Punk se sont bizzare... comme un robot ou un humain! Bien-sûr, ils sont merveilleux mais tous les bons musiciens sont bizzare! Hehe!

  • WOW that's what they look like. i've never seen them with out their robot outfits. i don't think there's any where else you can see them with out their robot outfits. AWSOME!

  • that's not them...

although you do see the back of thomas bangalter's head @ one point

a simple google search or old footage of the band (aka before the whole robot accident) shall bring you results

  • in english please

  • he he! Cycloma!

  • "CYCLOMA"

  • but you'd hope that it was likable for somebody. And not just because Daft Punk made it, cau'se you know, fandom makes you blind. Much like jacking off.

  • Yes, is true. I really agree! I was just expecting to much of that interview, I was disapointed.

  • (Note: I read a few review of the film from some Cannes people. All say that the film is extremely boring and cliched.)

  • well... it's been said : 'not for everybody'

  • Then we hear about one of the Daft Punks (we see the back of his head). He humbly explains that he and his partner have "visions" (which might go back to their childhood) and that "they're simply trying to express them."

  • Kassovitz (the producer of the film) really doesn't say much about Daft Punk, only that they're "crazy" and that he and his buddy-producers are just there "to feed them/their craziness." He also mentions that he can't "understand what's in their head." All he can do is "sit down and watch the result."

Kassovitz also explains that "Electroma" is not for everybody, which is why their goal was to go to Cannes from the get go, as "people who like films like "Electroma" hang out at Cannes."

  • thx for putting this online

  • I wish I knew French D:

  • Thank you so much fot posting this, I have been looking all over for footage of the movie.
