  • "I can tell everyone I'm related to Albert Molina" "Alfred" xD

  • Excellent! SOOOOOO awkward!

  • Molina is actually a really underrated actor and he was Brilliant in boogie nights!

  • Brilliant brilliant scene!!

  • wheres the spike jonze/spike lee bit on you tube?!

  • 4:19 "they were pretty fuckin great..."

  • Oh,my... Alfred just ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "Palm trees annoy the fuck out of me." wtf lol

  • Alfred's smile at 8:30, oh my god <3

  • aaagh you cut it short you missed the punchline, gaaaaah

  • @nevermoresmith63 there was a part 2 but MGM blocked it. XO

  • "palm trees annoy the fuck out of me"

  • Can somebody be so Kind to tell me what's really good about this movie or any of Jim Jarmusch's movies because people have praises for them but I find them extremely boring. Am I missing something?

  • 8:08 to 8:14 is one of the funniest shots I have ever seen in my life!!!

  • A: Are you meeting on anything interesting?

    S: Yeahhh...

    (silence)

haha, Molina's disappointed puppy eyes about another failed attempt at sustained conversation at 3:53

  • such impeccable acting here.

  • tea and cigarettes

  • "Tree People"- Where is Part 2?

  • It is so funny to see Alfred Molina pimping for a pitch with some bit actor, but Steve Coogan pulls it off here. This is one my favorite movies

  • Question: why is youtube suggesting that i watch "Tootin' Bathtub Baby Cousins"?

  • - i´m such a huge fan

    - not that huge... only where it counts :-)

  • Totally am much more familiar with Molina's work so when Steve came in, I was totally wondering who that was but now it's obvious. Plus, I totally love both actors and this was actually quite hilarious to watch.

  • @teddybears1232001

  • @TOKguy i'm sorry but no.

  • Was the cancelled show they refer to 'Bram and Alice'?

  • This is by narrow my favorite short in this feature (sorry Cate). After those two, it's a big drop to #3.

  • can i say no?

  • Roger Ebert's favorite one...

  • jarmusch was forced to cast this disgusting creep.

any other film he's in is usually a corrupt piece of crap.

"an education" is a film for pretentious and affected dummies who don't know how to read and think nabakov's "lolita" was a novel that approved of pedophiles.

  • @todhenmill you do know the actor isn't, y'know, that bad of a guy himself?

  • That's more awkward then Michael cera

  • @kraker109 I think that's what I love most about all these shorts, the whole innate awkwardness thing.

  • Have a look at "Red" the theatrical play where Alfred Molina plays Mark Rothko. Brilliant work too.

  • Do you want a cigarette? Sorry, they're French.

    - Oh, it's okay.

    :D

  • The acting here is exemplary, flawless...the way they create this tension that is palpable to the viewer. Molina, especially, is outstanding. My favourite scene in the movie...don't have to buy the DVD now!!!!!

  • that bar is in brooklyn!! is galapagos!!!so cool

  • When he doesn't smoke the cigarette - brilliant :D:D:D.

I have probably seen this scene for about 250 times, and never get tired of it. The dialog and extremely subtle and stylish acting of both is always as stunning.

  • It's so awkward... This is by far my favorite scene in the movie.

  • WHAT AMAZINGS ACTORS!!! AND WHAT A BRILLIANT SCENE!!! 1billions stars... :) very fantastic

  • I love all the awkwardness!

  • Best vignette of the movie for me.

The thing is for me - Alfred Molina is the one I am more familiar with. He plays in a movie, among many others, called 'The Man Who Knew Too Little'. Brilliant and very hearty comedy.

If I had the chance, it would be an honour to express my appreciation for Molina's work.

  • @LoveHeartLogicHead - yeah, such a great actor. Personally, I adore his performance in 'Magnolia'.

  • @LoveHeartLogicHead I am the total opposite with Steve Coogan. Did this make you check out Steve? I've fallen in love with Alfred Molina after this!

  • Mannn I wish I was that girl getting the autograph I would be drooling over Fred

  • Great scene

  • I love Steve's hair, the way he throws it back when he sits down is sooooooooo hot!

  • Brilliant scene. I only recognized Coogan in the beginning, thinking Molina was trying to get a gig from him. He just seemed like the most successful one. Then I remembered Molina from several movies. He's not an actor you really notice, but he is definitively successful and good.

  • this is by far my favorite short of the film

  • @fobiadc

    Definitely!

  • @fobiadc yeah!! me 2!! deliciosa!!

  • "I'll be my own mother" - haha!

Is Steve Coogan gay - anyone know?

  • No, he is not. He was married and has kids. Why does it matter??

  • Oh, I dunno!! Doesn't matter much at all really (Just wondered) He cracks me up regardless...

  • is that dr octovus?

  • It's Dr. Octavius/Octopus from SpiderMan (Molina), and Octavius from Night At The Museum (Coogan) ;)

God! I don't like smoking man, but Steve is absolutely sexy!!!
