Can somebody be so Kind to tell me what's really good about this movie or any of Jim Jarmusch's movies because people have praises for them but I find them extremely boring. Am I missing something?
Totally am much more familiar with Molina's work so when Steve came in, I was totally wondering who that was but now it's obvious. Plus, I totally love both actors and this was actually quite hilarious to watch.
jarmusch was forced to cast this disgusting creep.
any other film he's in is usually a corrupt piece of crap.
"an education" is a film for pretentious and affected dummies who don't know how to read and think nabakov's "lolita" was a novel that approved of pedophiles.
The acting here is exemplary, flawless...the way they create this tension that is palpable to the viewer. Molina, especially, is outstanding. My favourite scene in the movie...don't have to buy the DVD now!!!!!
When he doesn't smoke the cigarette - brilliant :D:D:D.
I have probably seen this scene for about 250 times, and never get tired of it. The dialog and extremely subtle and stylish acting of both is always as stunning.
The thing is for me - Alfred Molina is the one I am more familiar with. He plays in a movie, among many others, called 'The Man Who Knew Too Little'. Brilliant and very hearty comedy.
If I had the chance, it would be an honour to express my appreciation for Molina's work.
Brilliant scene. I only recognized Coogan in the beginning, thinking Molina was trying to get a gig from him. He just seemed like the most successful one. Then I remembered Molina from several movies. He's not an actor you really notice, but he is definitively successful and good.
"I can tell everyone I'm related to Albert Molina" "Alfred" xD

How ironic - the best scene of 'Coffee and Cigarettes' centres around tea and cigarettes.
