Morrissey is a fool politically and socially. His greatness is music, which is all he should ever do. If you believe Morrissey is "showing his love for barack obama" simply because he says "of course" then you obviously haven't been a fan for very long. He makes silly statements like that because he can't and not because he believes it.
@wmhamby : The musicianship sounds excellent in this rendition; however, it does sound like the vocals are sorely lacking as if Morrissey is not even putting forth an effort in conveying the emotion of this song, which is an essential part of what makes this song such an outstanding classic.
I love Morrissey, his music and his enigmatic personality, but I'm afraid that I can't say the same regarding his political inclinations.
