When I played Code Veronica X for the first time(I was about 6 years old, yes I played violent scary games at a young age.) I was mentally scarred for life I swear XD. It's still the scariest game I have ever played. The music is awesome and terrifying.

@grindingtheaxe They already did! And I suggest you DO buy a Wii as you can play the whole series ranging from 0-4 (original gamecube ones, no Wii dodgy nunchuck required) with RGB in full 480P. Trust me, it looks amazing. Oh, and don't forget to buy a wireless gamecube controller

this is my reaction when I first heard this song at 16. Okay So Im on an island with zombies, Im not to freaked out yet. I really didn't like resident evil the darkside chronicles. Don't get me wrong the soundtrack was the best I've ever heard and they kept all my favorite songs (except pandora's box ;3;) but I hated how they turned it into a first person shooter and on top of that they took away the ability to roam freely throughout maps.

the mansion, is really creppy, the doll in the middle of the mansion, scary dolls everywhere, that big doll is really crepy, when you are in the second flor, it looks like she is lookin you. In code Veronica X was really crepy, for see you have to go whit the lighter, is really dark !! and there are monsters and bats everywere PS: Suspended Doll, is that for that creppy doll in Ashford's Mansion or all the scary dolls in the mansion? I hate that dolls, I always shot, and they fall xD

This is probably *the* track of the game for me. Probably because I love Code Veronica so much...I remember that this was played at the beginning of the trailer that showed the Code Veronica section for the first time. I was so excited...

It's also very fitting considering that CV has got to be the darkest game of the series. Such a creepy track.

Nah, 'scariest' doesn't necessarily mean 'darkest'. CV is dark regarding its plot. Regarding the twin's creation, how they left their father, Alfred's madness, Steve's death, the twisted shit that went on at Rockfort prison, and all the creepy shit in the Ashford mansion - Spencer's one was a lot more normal considering it didn't have 20-foot dolls hanging from the ceiling.

If we are going to talk about a DARK, as in INTENSELY dark, then I'm sticking with Silent Hill, even though I've always thought of Resident Evil as the better series. Silent Hill is just in so many ways a darker game though. :X

Eh, I also always thought Resident Evil 4 was the darkest, though my favorite was 2. Resident Evil 4 just seemed, so dark all the time. The idea of people just getting implanted with eggs of a demon, and the fact that these creatures see no limit and kill any enemy. DARK

@TheFatalSilence RE4 didn't emotionally hit me in any way, except perhaps when Mike got a mouthful of rocket. Sure, the Ganados were tragic, especially when you see what happened to them during the credits, but not different to people being kept in a mansion/lab against their will and slowly watching themselves waste away.

I really think a better word for RE4 would be 'sick'.

This game has one of the best OST I have ever heard in my entire life!

It doesn't only combine the most awesomes soundtrack fromt the RE series, but it has them remasterized with full orchestra and opera!

Capcom really has made an AMAZING job with this one.

I am very pleased, and sure this brings back good old memories =)
