How about a resynch with the second series of The News Image, otherwise known as The News Image Plus. The 'Plus' is, in my opinion, just as good as the first.
That works very well...if you don't mind me putting in my 2 cents on what else would be cool, I'll do just that:
WFOR 2009 with Telesound's "And You" package (WCIX used it in the mid-80's) WTVJ 2009 with whatever that post andrew music is called
Local10 with their late 80's theme, WSVN 2009 with On Your Side, WFOR 2009 with any CBS Enforcer type theme and finally, since I love the theme so much, ANY SoFla Station with News Series 2000+, the one used by ABC7 in Chicago! Thanx!

@defman2k Does not fit with the times but it syncs. TMBtd must be just as preoccupied with 1985. Well before that but I am thinking of that song.
