I'll suggest you to go for the u50 since the 2.5 increments are easier to do compared to the u90. I just but the u50 and they work great
I'll recommend to check out this YouTube video "Powerblock Sport 5.5 Review" by ultraconsumer. They kind of did the same question whether to buy the 50 or 90lbs for p90x but for the sport series.
Beautiful. Im 16 and getting a job this summer and i hope to purchase the u-50 with my first paycheck! im doing p90x and im sure the powerblock will be of great help
@iKlaSiicKoNii instead of getting the U-50 get the U-90 stage I with this model it goes up to 50 pounds but you can later buy more weight that will go up to 90 pounds. Buying just the U-50 you can't go up in weight later on.
I'm debating whether to go with the U-90 stage I or get the sport model because the sport model can go to a max of 130. A lot of my workout at the gym is close to 90 pounds now so am trying to debate which model to o with. The urethane they do say is quieter though
@welderman27 well if you get the U-90 its more money..with tax and shipping its like another 30 dollars to the original price..when there not cheap to begin with lol. just thought i'd say that..but yeah u can upgrade the u-50 with the u-90 set..i upgraded mine that way..but uhm...for you i'd say get the Urethane that goes to 90 and more im pretty sure they go up..but if they don't idk..once u go up to 130..the powerblocks loose there point of purpose you know? i say Urethane is better
@amen360 yeahh when they make a noise..i dont rmbr if the heavier you go the quieter the noise and lighter you go more noise..im not sure but yeah mine make noise too but not a LOUD noise just a noise that u can hear them goin back n fourth lmfao when you do your exercises
Is it possible to upgrade the u-50 with the u-90 stage two set, or are you just stuck with 50 pounds?
