    1. Check if there is a low amount of views, at least under 1,000,000

    2. Check if the video was not uploaded by VEVO but by a regular youtube user.

  • old school but still fire! :D

  • soe sooothing...sang mary sang!!

  • i love this song....but man...the freakin' remix of "you remind me" is killin' it. i maybe young(14) but i know the meaning of REAL music..not the crap that plays on the radio now-a-days...proud to be a MJB fan for life.

  • SHE IS DA QUEEN OF HIP HOP....WHO ELSE IS STILLSTANDIN & MKN HITS....

  • I know I was a little girl then but this is real music!

  • Now this is real music. I like mary when she first came out. But through the years her style has changed. She is still one of my favorite artists though. Back then music had some substance but the times have changed. Lord i wish we could go back to the 90's.

  • Mmmmhmmm! Yeah! :)

  • Mom use to keep Mary in the car with erykah badu and missy elliot lmao. thanks mom and dad for playing real music around me :)

  • @QueenCie09 Dig deeper. If you think this is real music, dig much much deeper.

  • @QueenCie09 those were the day and lauren hill. . .and im a guy that loves this

  • mary mary mary they dont make em like you no more

  • i dont understand why she is queen of hip hop when she is no relation to hip hop? except maybe hip hop style production and guest rapper but she is not hip hop anything sorry

  • @mroboiz they say" queen of hip hop soul" not only hip hop

  • @notoriousgeek what is it mean hip hop soul i dont understand i think it is marketing to make more money because she is not hip hop artist :( its not mean she is not make good record because she make many good record but it is R&B with many hip hop style production but she is not mc she is not dj she is not bgirl she is not graff artist

  • @mroboiz oh it's means in this music she combine hip hop music with r&b music nothing more.she's is r&b artist.

  • Isn't it great that a track this old can still give you the exact same feeling it did well over a decade ago. Just listened to it back to back three time, Mary j Blige rocks, she is the Queen of hip-hop for sure!

  • no school like the old school

  • @intheskii.... i dig that 411 album. Its just catchy and not overproduced. Just wish shed take off the giant sunglasses and get back to singing. Agreed though, Beyonce and them do suck, for the most part

  • @development602 is this sex reference? hehehehe

  • the queen

  • REAL hiphop right here! We need more of this and less Nicki Minaj! Word!!

  • The original was better than the remix in this case.

  • MARY'S SONGS GOT ME THRU ALOT

  • I remember Queens 1992 at my pops place he played this shit twice

  • ALWAYS LOVE MARY!

  • If i could get a hold and Mary J and ask her who inlfluenced her musically, she would confess Roy Ayers, Patrice Rushen, Bobby Caldwell, Anita Baker, Curtis Mayfield. Chaka Khan. It is very apparent in her music if you have an ear and a history in Black music. You would know.

  • still refreshing and relevant! still the same feelings!

  • almost forgot this track, but visiting detroit last week i heard it on... i think 105.9? dig it... b4 MJB turned into a wannabe diva

  • @development602 b4 MJB turned into a wannabe diva please ellaborate homie. Mary is the queen and will ALWAYS be the QUEEN of RNB ... She isnt a wannabe at all. The wannabes are the beyonces and Nickis and them

  • @Intheskii ...I agree with you 1000000%...

  • @Intheskii lmfaooooooo gworl bye

  • @development602 Wannabe... Huh!?

  • you are the best mary j!!! I grew up on you!!! now at 30 i still enjoy your music

  • I Remember This Chorus 1:40 From ''Patrice Rushen'' Song ''Remind Me'' You Must Hear That Song Too!!

  • This is 7th grade memories right here...jr high house parties, hehe

I believe that this is her best album to date, I still listen to this album and I probably will even when i'm 90 years old.

  • I remember when Mary J. Blige first hit the seen when she first sang on Father MC's I'll do for you in 1989. I've been a fan every since then, her voice is so pure, full of soul and emotions when she sings. The What's the 411 album was the Best she ever did . Every time I hear songs from it I just smile, and remember all the fun I had in the 90's..Love No Limit is my favorite of all times but You Remind Me is a close second, Love them all thought. Detroit has much love for Mary J.

  • this shit was HOT back in like 1991, I guess it was. Trust me though, this is how people got down in the 90's. I'll put my half million dollar house on it.

  • Someone said that Rufus Thomas' "Funky Pequin" was used here... I listened for sample usage and other than Patrice Rushen,I can't hear it. Would anybody know of this?

BTW-this was a breath of fresh air when it came out...this is one of those songs that stand the test of time!!!

  • Yall crazy check out Patrice Rushen's "You remind me" and see what's really up!

  • @anelson26

    shut up

  • @anelson26

ummm..... nothing can top an original

Mary has a voice that i can listen to all day, and the beautiful thing is that it hasn't changed with time. she had it then and she still has it now.

    And thats the 411*

  • @anelson26 yes Patrice Rushen's joint goes hard and is so smooth, i had no idea she sampled that song! Thanks for the lead!

  • @anelson26 when I was younger I used to hear both versions of You Remind Me, both the original and MJB's version. Have to admit, MJB's version is the one I remember...not trying to bring down the original but there's something fresh about the way MJB does this song...

  • I wore this song out the summer of '92.

  • @Alia89119 we all did.

  • i love mary j blige i love her style and also i love the way she sing.........

  • OMG took me way back. 18 years ago. I feel so old cuz i remember singing this on the radio when it came out

  • Favorite song from her <3 She's so beautiful with a wonderful voice.

  • God this song takes me back in the days, and i'm only 28..

  • Every time I hear this song it reminds me of a baby boy from back in the day. He was my first love. Even after all these years...the way you walk, the way you talk & you remind me yes you do!

  • Chiiiillld!! This remind me of patra braids and stretchy biker shorts. Nefertiti jewelry!!! Loves it!!

  • 1992 this was it for me 6th grade!!!!!!!!!!

  • me too cis 148 all day

  • @3264044 148?

  • Usher Put the Man point of view in his song

  • I've been a fan of Mary J. Blige since 1992 when her songs wur unleashed as well as her debut record "What's the 411?". Yo, '92, stand up!

  • ok ok can someone help me out??

Like how did Usher sample this song for his 2001 "U remind me"??

is it because they're talking about the samething?? only different point of views??

I'm a 91' male and my mom & grandmom listened to so much R&B that i been kinda anti-R&B...lol

but I do listen to it, just not really the old classic stuff, because thats the stuff I grew tired of hearing

  • Usher sampled because Mary says "You know that you remind me, of a love that I once knew, yes it's true.." and Usher says "You remind me of a girl that I once knew..." Both Mary and Usher use the line "of a love that I once knew..."

  • don't listen to mr.blige(in his fuckin' wet dreams).there was no sample.

  • there are notenough similarities for it to be considered a sample...Usher's song was a completely different take on it

  • heck yea she would!!

  • Hell-Yea! this was the jam. i've never heard anything like this but as soon as i heard this i fell n love wit it. it was a breath of fresh air 4real. i was too young and couldnt really relate to whitney, mariah, karen white or anita baker. but when Mary hit the scene wit this sound and her look. OMG! its been a wrap eva since

  • this was THE jama back in da day yall lil yungins just dont know..i wish this was music still...

  • init!! look at the crap where forced to listen to nowadays!
