  • NAPALM DEATH!!!! X

  • Makes me want to fight the dog again (I always lose)

  • 21 people can eat shit and die.

  • napalm death t-Shirt \m/ :D

  • Big Jim and Billy FTW

  • I very rarely say this about covers, but... this beats the original by far. Sure, Iommi isn't here... but still!!!

Black Sabbath is one my favorite bands.

  • @sinbysin666

Agreed. The Black Sabbath studio recording is really inferior to FNM's version, doesnt have the same power.

  • @sinbysin666 are you retarted or just plain stupid?

  • @666999jt I'm so sorry that I don't have the exact same fucking taste music, as you, you fucking degenerate.

  • @sinbysin666 atleast i dont lash out against people over the internet,so ask yourself a question, whos the real degenerate.

  • @666999jt I'd say calling people "retarded" is indeed lashing out at people. And if you're gonna ask a question, then please.. add a question mark.

  • @sinbysin666 2 things,1 calm down and take a joke like a big boy and 2 if your gonna correct someone one there grammer make sure ure using propper grammer your self....BEEOTCH!!!!

  • @666999jt You're not doing a good job being condescending. If you're gonna call people retarded, then expect them to respond in a negative way. It's the reason we can't have nice things.

  • @666999jt I think you should do the same. YOU"RE going to correct someone's grammar (no e). Also their for possessive not there. Nice try though brah.

  • wow two of my favorite bands ever im so psyched that this exists

  • 4:33 in the pluabuabuaglagladaaaaaaa!!

    just epic

  • @FunkerNiko it's war pigs not epic ;)

  • @MaidenMadeOfIron i know, but im saying that the pluabuabuagladada!!!!! was epic, not the song dude

  • @FunkerNiko i know it was a joke ;)

but OMG i love this version :D i'm seeing black sabbath live next june and if their version of war pigs live is as good as this i will be very happy :3

  • sheer GREATNESS

  • Note for note Awesome!

  • War Pigs is an accurate name for the elite bankers that own us and send us to war to reduce the population of “commoners.” America is a classic fascist police-war state.

  • 20 Bullshit dislike this Video...

  • killer cover

  • Good video,thank you.

  • wow best cover since the song actually came out and never the less they also did the cover of Poker face from Lady Gaga and blew that bitch away

  • I was at this show and dont get me wrong but people who are Thuming up are missing the fuckin point this was a Faith No More Gig not a Sabbath Gig so fuck off and thumb up for somthing u were actually there for!! Pricks

  • I was there....right in the pit :))

  • One of the best covers ever. Takes me back 20 years. Still got their album FNM - live at the Brixton Academy and is still after all those years one of my favorites

  • normally not a fan of covers.... but fuck i love this one. have for many years. mike patton is one of the sexiest men on the earth too. damn! \m/

  • patton owned ozzy at he's own song

  • GREAT COVER

  • Mike Patton is one of the best vocalists of our time, Live at The Brixton Academy should be compulsory listening for today's youth. One of the best live sets ever recorded.

  • holy shit this is awesome

  • Who cares about the voice, check out the ass on that boy. Yowza.

  • 11 years ago was the first time i heard their version of war pigs... mike borden's drumming and jim martin's solos, bill gould's monstrous bass and patton's vocals were forever seared in my brain

  • Dude whatever that singer is on i'll take two.

  • @beeballboy looks like mike already did

  • 5:14 same riff as in alice in chain's sunshine ahah

  • @ttulicreme sam riff as Sabbath ( Ozzy)

  • Good cover but no one owns ozzy they just all dream of being as good as OZZY

  • What the hell is wrong with Mike Patton?!? LOL I heard this cover back when it came out. I was only ten years old, and it opened me up to the world of Black Sabbath. I have been a fan of both Faith No More and Sabbath since.

  • where is the Goldfish?

  • Black Sabbath is the ABSOLUTE reference ......

  • fnm rock they have a great sound unlike bands of today, i would say on the album this is a cover from Ozzy's talk of the devil note for note bar the drum solo is perfect. It shows a great band who make great music of their own to cover another so well and the versatility is amazing ie the cover of easy, i rest my case :)

  • wow! what can i say?!? a great remix ,with modern insrtruments one can feel how great it was created. great version, thanx!

  • dio what a twaat hated him ozzy to the end

  • @tazpatang DNFTT. >.<

  • amzing voice

  • FNM version imho totaly owns Black Sabbath's original

  • Powerful voice!!!

  • @bookworm1138...that wasn't a mistake..he was just being goofy...that's mike patton for ya

  • no tats ??

  • I adore these guys.

    what year is this from?

  • @xyfb your a stupid twat faith no more are one of the best bands I'n the world and mike patton is amazing at singing , your a great example of someone who likes shit music and has no taste I'n great bands like faith no more, DICK -:(

  • better than the original --------

  • Better than Sabbath's version.

  • fnm, a good example of a band with no talent trying to cope in a world where cleaners and trashmen are required.

  • @xyfb and i suppose your ina band thats done considerabley better than fnm ? good bye

  • it feels rushed...

  • Dude I have, and it wasnt with pepper juice.try mace are tier gas.YOUR not old enough to have been vitnam, so you would understand.BOY.

your just make'en some vids.try all that shooting when you have gooks shooting back at ya.i do have to say you pertty good sot tho but how are ya when your getting shot at.its a whole different ball game.85 yrs old so believe me I'v been there.see ya

  • He srews up really bad at 4:30

  • Ok, I grew up on Sabbath, Queen, Rush, etc. And i gotta hand it to bands doing cover versions of Classic Rock tunes! (I think FNM were one of the first to start doing this on studio albums)? Anyway, FNM do an incredible job of covering War Pigs. But for all the advances in live sound from the '70's, the 'rawness'(!?), is just missing. But I don't really give a fuck! I LOVE this version, 'cos FNM are paying RESPECT to Sabbath! But Sabbath version CANNOT be 'bettered'. Just enjoy the peformance

  • @ColRocknRoll great comment !!! FNM IS AWESOME!!!!

  • @SebTheOtaku I think it matters when you grew up. Sometimes I like FNM War Pigs version better than Sabbaths, I like a ton of Sabbath covers, Type O negatives Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, White Zombie's Children of the grave. SoundGarden does an awesome Into the Void. Supernaught by 1000 homo Dj's (Reznor and Jougensen) Sepultura's Symptom of the Universe, Six Feet Under's Sweet Leaf, Cannibal Corpse or Godflesh's Zero the Hero, Changes by Fudgetunnel. Imitation is most sincere form of flattery.

  • maybe the best cover but not better than the original sorry

  • @DenysSIC sorry it is.

  • the band oughtta fire the singer. They rock- he blows.

  • 4:47 possessed

  • I love Mike Patton's odd vocal stylings. I like this one just a tad more than the original

  • This is an unexpectedly good cover.

Iommi's solo is much much better and Ward is a much better drummer.

  • I believe Mike Patton did the blah blah blah blah part on purpose because he was sick of playing the song by then and he also knew it would piss off Jim Martin. Especially because it was a live taping! Mike often tried to piss off Jim because Jim Martin was an old 80's banger that didn't want to change! Thumbs up if you agree. Non FNM fans think it was a mistake, True FNM would know the difference!

  • @johnlaughnfaggapples only a moron would think he did that by accident haha FNM !

  • Epicoo. lml

  • 4:33 - 4:38 - the worst epic fail ever! even a drunk and high Ozzy Osbourne never made a mistake THAT terrible

  • I like it, but nothing will ever top the one and only Ozzy and Tony Iommi

  • Best song ever :)

  • Generals gathered in their masses Just like witches at black masses Evil minds that plot destruction Sorcerers of death's construction In the fields the bodies burning As the war machine keeps turning Death and hatred to mankind Poisoning their brainwashed minds Oh lord yeah! Politicians hide themselves away They only started the war Why should they go out to fight? They leave that role to the poor Time will tell on their power minds Making war just for fun...
  • Playing a cover is a sign of respect and tribute.

  • Amazing version..pattons voice suits it so well!

  • only 180,000 + views? cmon u gonna give some love to this epic version! cant believe those deathcore shit had more views than this !

  • Bass is wicked

  • I'm happy to see any band pull this one off, because this is actually one of the most difficult Sabbath numbers to do.

  • Lol, what a simple drummer.

  • The Sabbath tribute CD on which this song appears is great

  • That was pretty FaithNoMore Epic, It made me feel EASY, this is The REAL THING, Because WE CARE A LOT... I started a joke...

  • This decapitates any Black Sabbath version, sorry to say. Better in every way.

  • @powerslave81 every way? are you high?

look up "bathory war pigs" and you will see a cover that blows this little "blah blah blah-blah blah blah-blah blaahhh!" insult out of the water

  • Bordin fucking killin it

    and with mike's voice ...

    this is epic

  • i would have loved to see layne staley do this song.

  • @miggy1038 Wouldn't we all...

  • More bass = More power

  • todo un tributo, a la faith no more

  • I agree that Patton owns Ozzy, but the rest of Sabbath is untouchable.

  • @bloodthirst72

Agreed, Faith No More are all still awesome musicians, just not as good as the legendary sabbath

  • @bloodthirst72 haha. ozzy, high, drunk and probably stoned too on Just Say Ozzy, never did anything as shameful as "blah blah-ing" his way through a whole verse of War Pigs

maybe YOU're the one who's drunk, high and stoned (as well as on acid and shooting heroin too, most definitely)

  • @bookworm1138 I cant believe you think that was NOT on purpose.

  • @bookworm1138 One line is not a verse, and it was obviously deliberate.

  • @bookworm1138

    You're making two insults there.

One to Patton thinking that he just isn't being goofy as usual.

And the second to Sabbath by insinuating that somone could actually forget the lyrics to a Sabbath song!

  • @bookworm1138 lol, dumbass

  • @bloodthirst72 no one ownes ozzy, and sabbath wasnt shit without ozzy, dio was good, but no ozzy

  • @bloodthirst72 nobody owns Ozzy when it comes to Sabbath music....i dislike this ver a lot and i think this guys voice sucks ass.

  • @roosterCOF no way u could say some shit like that ozzy couldnt sing half as good as mike

  • @roosterCOF Have you even heard Patton's singing? He is one of the best rock vocalists of all time, you silly boy.

  • @roosterCOF How dare you to dislike Mike Patton? Shame on you.

  • @bloodthirst72 what??? Mike Bordin (the drummer) in this song is Amazing (more than the Sabbath's drummer)!!!

  • @GeorgeSaag Bordin is a great drummer. But for Sabbath songs there is no better fit than Bill Ward.

  • GREAT COVER

  • who the best bassist?

    bill gould!!!

  • day of judgement God is calling" that is his missin lyrics at 4:35

  • @Raxilly he was just messin around

  • 10,000 times better than the original... Mike Patton was probably on acid

  • Wait till their judgment day comes! Yeah!!!

  • Fabulosa version del clasico de Black Sabbath

    GENIAL

  • mike patton owns this song sorry ozzy.......

  • Oh Lord Yeah!!

  • God damn his voice is good ...

  • specially at the vocals, in fact, patton vocals at "the real thing" era sucks really awful, like it or not.

  • i was nineteen when this happened, im getin hold, fk

  • fuck... what as massive sound.

  • Re-mastered! But still like both Sabbath and FNM!

  • @tphelps76 You mean that awesome drummer... and yes he has played with Sabbath

  • I like this version best but to be fair the original was made in like 1970 this is nearly 20 years later...

  • 4:35 BLARRG BLARG BLAAAARRRG

  • I loved it. Until he started singing. Then i raged.

  • wat a lot of shit .......ozzy wont forgive for this crap

  • @zoiclife

    maybe

but such a shame he's on Oxycontin or whatever :0

  • Very under rated band... Great drummer as well!

  • @ActinLikeaRobot Great drummer? Are you kidding? Did you listen to his fills? Worst fills I ever heard. Compare to the original and hear the difference.

  • @dujl It is kinda hard to hear his toms I'll give you that. But he is a great drummer, so you are comparing this guy to the original drummer of Ozzy?

  • I wish I has half as cool as Billy Gould...wait that's too much pressure :)

  • the reason i love FNM's cover is because the drums never repeat themselves, NOT ONCE, check the album version drums, they are incredible

  • i personally didn't like this cover, nothing beats Sabbath!!! not to say that i didn't enjoy it, cause that would be a lie but still... this is Sabbath were talking about. SABBATH!!!!!!

    !!!BLACK SABBATH FOREVER!!!

  • this is fucking awesome!! 0.54 O MY YEEEEOW!!

  • fuck jim is sweet!

  • Sings like he's got a cold. Weak, immature dipshit. A great band nonetheless.

  • I remember this song so well. It was the 1st cd I bought, at the age of 12. Never was a Sabbath fan, so always thought this was a FNM song. So a couple of years later I ofcourse discovered it was a cover. And the FNM version is so , so much better. The guitar, drums and bass so much more vibriant, good synergy. When I listen to the Sabbath version it's pretty tame. One of those unique exepctions where the cover is better than the original. Btw I love Sabbath :)

  • Mike can sing pretty much anything in his own way and get away with it.. Perfect vocal technique, when he wants it, and stunning charisma for me the best singer we have had in the last 25 years

  • Essa Musica é foda mais ainda Prefiro o Faith No More... do Q o Black Sabbath Togando essa musica ^^

  • 4:35 forgot the lyrics!!! thumbs up if you agree!!!

  • great band, killer cover.

  • 4:35 F'n HILARIOUS!!!!!!!

  • Gigantic cover. Perfect performance

  • Even though FNM is an Alternative Metal, Funk Rock or whatever you want to call them, their influences are clear. I mean, C'mon, Napalm Death!!!??? some serious shit right there.

... Fuck they've been around for a long time, still going strong.

  • Bla blablablablablablaaaa

  • NICE.....

  • Nice cover but the bass is to loud

  • @Bloodysabbath94

    nah its just fine

  • Better than the original sorry Sabbath!

  • @dreaddog You gotta be kidding me! He butchered it. Took a really good song and turned it to crap.

  • @rballn1 Yeah and... Patton is still a better vocalist than Ozzy hands down!

  • @dreaddog You're a genius

  • @dreaddog kids these days, fnm is not even close, they sucks

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre Kids these days... I'm older and wiser than you child! Highest rated comment says you suck!!!

  • @dreaddog in your dreams son, whats next? jonas brothers the greatest rock band of all time because of the sellings?

  • @dreaddog fag no its not

  • @free69r Aye right you fucking gay compton ganster, its is and rising, bite me

  • @dreaddog HAHAHAH you actually though im some nigger from compton. this version doesnt come close to the sabbath version

  • @free69r NAW!!! just think your are a wanna-be!!!

  • @dreaddog yeah its better even tho he goes at one point, bla bla bla bla bla bla bla blaaaaaaaahhh

  • @jordcarg Thats half the greatness about it :D

  • @dreaddog you have not heard the live in Paris version 1970.

  • @talleman1 Who FNM they were not about then but seen a video of them with Ozzy singing in 1990 in Hollywood also James Hetfield comes on playing guitar. :D

  • @dreaddog i would have to disagree i think Sabbath is better but a very good cover

  • @dreaddog specially the voice of Mike and the Bass!!!!

  • @dreaddog

Without Sabbath this song wouldn't even exist.

  • @kingalcoholier Thats not even a debate thats just stating the obvious...

  • @dreaddog

My statement wasn't even close to a debate. The truth. And who wrote it's a debate? Not me. Debate with yourself. Oh and btw, get your head out from Jim Martin's ass. It's way too deep in there.

  • @dreaddog

    Cant be..Fuck you!sorry..xD

  • @dreaddog watch this song played live by sabbath in Paris 1970.. and tell me.Who's fucking better.

  • @DenysSIC Still FNM just listened to Sabbith paris 1970 and this version again, it has so much more energy and now thinking about it Jim Martin's guitar sound is much nicer. also a better tempo.

  • this is great. i used to listen to this all the time on the nativity in black tribute album. nice to see the video. not at all what i pictured lol.

  • I'm a huge Tool fan. I want to get into Faith No More, but I don't want to waste my money on buying any albums that may or may not be as good as this song right here. Are there any hardcore Faith no more fans than can tell me their 10 favorite Faith No More songs? If you have more than that, that's fine too, I'm just trying to put their best songs on a badass CD, and I don't really trust "Greatest Hits" CDs, I trust fans. Help me out?

  • @Minacious Album of the Year, Angel Dust, King for a Day Fool For a Lifetime. The Greatest hits DO suck sometimes, it is very true :-)

  • @Minacious from out of nowhere, epic, easy, we care a lot, war pigs (i know its a cover) midlife crisis, suprise youre dead. best for sure. start with from out of nowhere.

  • @Minacious hey don't listen to people telling you "real thing" is the best fnm album; sure, it's what made them big successes in the beginning, but only because of the song epic which is overplayed anyway

check out Angel Dust and King for a Day; those are really two amazing fnm albums and i feel pretty safe saying that if you don't like those, you probably don't like faith no more

album of the year is good too

  • 4:36 always makes me laugh <3

  • where the hell is Brixton anyway?

LOL @ Mike Patton laying down
