The problem is when they forged the block with an aluminum brass mixture they didn't realize that the oil being petrolium based would eat away seals in the flux compasitor causing the brass to bleed into the ky reservoir. I think the first year they released this turd covered in burnt hair in 71 and it blows me away why they would put it in an instant classic like the charger. Eventually they are gonna have to do away with 3 of the spark plugs to allow for more friction.

I got mine about 5 maybe 6 years ago for $1000. how is your van? is it nice? mine came with a spotless, very very nice interior, pretty nice 2-tone exterior, and it didn't really run that great, it had a manual choke but I had that replaced and put about $500 in the engine and now it runs so well! does yours run well? send me a pic of it if you want.

I just paid this guy $700 and was owing him $200. Today I told him I think he's asking for too much ..I can't even get $1000 for my 99 Saturn. He got mad, said okay good day. I have to get 4 tires that are going to cost me over $250 (used) the fridge and oven-not good.None of the gages work. When I fill the tank it still shows as half full. interior is clean but a few rusted areas on body. I'll take photos when it's not raining. Sounds good.

I think that engine needs some more advance on the ignition timing. It should be a lot more powerful than that, and it would be a lot less likely to backfire if the timing was set right as well. A choke might help too.
