  • i have to learn pomse 10 and im 9

  • Thank you very much for this cuz see I just got my 1st degree 2 or 3 months ago n my teachers at my school are not helping me with the things I need help on n now I know how to do this. N @Boo4716 at almost every school u learn pal jang at red with 2 black strips so ur a retard :)

  • i must learn the 9th and 10th poomse because on 29th juny i will make the first Dan !!

    :'D I am so happy

(Sorry my english isn't very good, i think, because i am from austria...) :D

  • @MsFakeful Good Luck

  • @MsFakeful Shouldn't you know all of them up to Koryo right now? You aren't supposed to learn above your own Poomsae.

  • @MsFakeful but for the first dan you just need taeguk pal jang.and not koryo or kumgang.

  • just a little question, since i train TKD in Mexico, what does WTF means?

  • @The0Assasins0Creed0 wtf means world taekwondo federation

  • @The0Assasins0Creed0 wtf means world taekwondo federation . the poomsae practiced by the wtf and the itf (international taekwondo federation) are different

  • @The0Assasins0Creed0 world Taekwondo federation i think

  • This one has much more enthusiasm and power than the others I've seen you do.

  • OUIH!

  • have my pre test friday

  • thank you sir i learned pal jang thanks to you

  • This is my Red Sr. Poomsae and so far my favorite. Testing for 1st Dan in a few months.

  • I'm starting to have flash backs of doing this from years ago. ._. Wow... drilled into my mind.

  • ok,for beginners is is good

  • This is my favourite poomsae.

  • Its Koryo Im 1st degree black belt and thats my form

  • @snipebrbproductions cool... i am a 1st dan too..

  • @kathysoiio Thats great! Which branch?

  • @snipebrbproductions I don't know exactly what do you mean with branch, but i have done WTF Taekwondo...english is not my first language..

  • I could do it better -.-

  • esta si que esta super te muestra hasta cuando esta de espalada genial ...

  • Agum son mok tchigui!!

  • @Lildayne1232 it depends on the school and kid some people are just amazing they r amazing bj penn got hid black belt in jiu jitsu in 3 years bc he was amazing and some school just give it out way to early that's wat I think

  • lol of sadness

  • Thank you so much for the videos. I have to learn the Poomsae on my own because my master only teaches Hyongs. Only the master who is giving me my belt knows these forms but he lives in Korea :-(

  • wats means WTF???

  • thnk u this really hlpd me :)

  • koryo is for deputy!

  • sos de madera papa

  • sos de madera papa

  • these poomses r great! im a 1st dan black belt going 2 the junior olympics in 2 wks nd i jst found out 2 wks ago i have 2 kno koryo, kuemgang, taebaek, nd the 1 after tht which is way too much for me but these have helped a tremendous amount.. nd i think its my grandmaster bang say junbi nd all tht :p well wish me good luck :)

  • @Panagirl25 Kuemgang is the most amazing form! I love it. I had to learn it to get 2nd dan black belt and it's the best form besides Ko Ryo

  • im gonna start adding sound effects to my videos!!!!

  • is this koryo for first dan?

  • @joshualibuton koryo is for second dan. i have first dan

  • @alkoia i learned Ko Ryo for first dan and Kuemgang for second dan so i guess it's just depends on the teacher

  • @MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHA i guess you're right

  • Why is the ready(joonbi) position different?

  • @beatyo9999 Dunno probably because you have reached black belt? anyway i always do the wrong one

  • yeah, just like our studio. im a poom belt, but we only get poom belt if were under 16, im a second dan. 14 year old

  • I just have a question, do you guys use the blocks used in poomes? I mean I used to take TKD for a little while, and i think the style I studied was more competitional, but we never used those blocks.

  • Koryo is my favorite poomse. I knew it once, but then I had a break from TKD for about three and a half years. Now I have to relearn it before I even think about getting the black belt. I probably will next year

  • @dasudosomia, i think wat ewok meant was tat those poom black or taeguek belts, u know those half red and black blacks, in my country when u reach a age of 15 and in tat belt level, u automatically swtich to a full black belt cos those belts are learning koryo, sepjin taebaek and so on

  • because red black are junior black belt but you still have the same dan if you turn from junior to senior(black black)

  • My favorite poomsie

  • its the same man after u convert a month after dat u auto 2 dan 2 if u passed poom 2

  • how are you automatically a 2nd dan? if your skool gives u dans automatically after u learn a poomse then its a garbage skool. tae kwon do isnt about poomse only -.-

  • Agreed. TKD is much more than just poomses. There's a hell-load of other techniques, spiritual and physical strength etc

  • Another joker with a Black Belt

  • @dasudosomia LOL

  • Fantastic form. Thank you for your demonstration Sir.

  • At our club, we start learning koryo when we get to red-black lol.

  • Pre Black

  • i dunno maybe i say the same cuz i dun understand u good, but we learn Koryo for the exams of red-black

  • koryo is my fav.

  • red-black is the junior black belt. stil a black belter but under 16 years old.

  • whooo, i can (kinda) do those whooshing sounds in my punches... but that's not saying much is it? =/

  • 9TH DEGREE IS THE HIGHEST DEGREE......unless your the president or watever of taekwondo

  • aa basan kon aa

  • o_0????

  • does it sound like there is a sound effect of hitting???

  • there is

  • I think it's not bat at all, maybe he is not a profetional but this video goes quite well to learn the Koryo Poomsae

  • Maybe he's not professional, but if you search Poomsae ILEYO (thats 10th Dan BBelt) its the same guy.

  • is only up to 9th degree, and this is one of the officia video's that the WTF made

  • So...you think he's just wearing the belt for the sake of it? o_O

  • yea, i thought the same thing when i saw this. I really hope this guy isnt an instructor, or worse, a master. His forms and stances are horrible. Plus, he rushed through the form so fast too.

  • this black belt has amazing stances what are you saying?!?!?!

  • hmm lets hope ur not an instructor either. his stances are horrible. the are really narrow in certain spots.. and his horsestance was not deep enough

  • actually i am an instructor.... i was taught by General Choi him self (aka the creator of Taekwondo) so i believe that i am right and you are wrong sir.

  • and also if your so great at these patterns being the critique you are, would you care to post how you would do these patterns in a video response???

  • *facepalm*

  • in my academy you must know it to pass to black belt... im franja negra (spanish for half black half red i guess)

i´ll probably be a black belt in december and i have to learn it to do the exam

  • i usted to do this form all the time

  • black belt = 1th dan

  • 1th ? lololololol

  • fake snaping sound right because nobody snapes like that cause i't so loud

  • I think it's to know where to put the emphasis and power.

  • I also have absolutely no idea.. Maybe the sound is amplified? But is it even humanely possible to snap so loud? Maybe with the right force, momentum in the moves coupled with well toned muscles? I wonder..

  • the sounds in this video are obviously dubbed but it is in fact possible for the dobok to snap that loudly

  • definatly my favorite form

  • 1st and 2nt Dan Black belt in my do jang

  • i deputy black testin for black june 20

  • thank you for your kind words

  • lol i am black belt 1st dan already

  • in my WTF school we call that belt "dan bo"

  • cool is it the same as poom belt like red and black stripes?

  • uhh like before dan bo its red II like two red stripes and one black strip

dan bo is half the belt is black and the other half is red :)

  • niiiiice yeah dan bo i guess is same thing as poom belt then ^_^

  • it just sounds weird..."poom" :)

reminds me of poomba from the lion king hahahahhaha

  • LOLL

well at least its just temporary i can't wait for black belt :D :D

  • haha

well i got kind of a long way to go :)

    im a brown belt :)

  • The journey is a fantastic one :)

  • hah it is so far :)

  • im my school they call it a deputy belt, like deputy belt 1 2 3 and 4 each has red and black but with a different color in the middle, but now they changed it and they put dan lines on them like black belts =.= i liked the first ones better lol

    ~1st dan b belt

  • otimo...estou apenas na faixa verde ponta azul e ja se o poon see koryo!!

  • In our school, there is such belt called Poom Belt, which is red and black (red stripe on bottom, black on top), and it is somewhat of a "temporary" black belt, given after black belt testing. During this "probation" period, you learn Koryo.. The actual black belt is given in a promotion ceremony a couple months after the test.

  • the poom belt is not just in your school existent.

every school that belongs to WTF has it.

  • @TKDEsra not every school, mine did'nt use the poom, we went right to Black

  • @TKDEsra most of the time, it's given to students who are too young to get a black belt

  • @TKDEsra Isnt that like. The junior Black? Youre given that until you reach a certain age to get a full black.

  • me 2 bullshit

  • @bqureshi390 I thought you would get the Poom Belt if you were too young to wear the black belt(atleast that was told to me when i got it at age 13)

  • igual le pasó a un amigo mio

  • You are supposed to know Koryo when you are bodon, the belt before 1st Dan!!!!!

But different studios teach differently, with their own styles...

  • wow if got just the yellow belt! but i'm young xD

  • Thanks for posting all of these poomse. I am a second dan but had a 5 year break and am just going back to training. We do our poomse slightly different but this was more helpful than looking through my old VHS and reading my books!!!

  • got 2 red stripes on my blue belt

but we had a belt extra (orange, between yellow and green) i know them all untill 9

  • ur supposed to no it before black belt

  • Different schools teach differently.

  • wtf regulations

  • You will find there is one set standard for Koryo World Wide not a Mix up.

  • yea im learning this now, i get my black belt next test....

  • wow this is the red/black form for us then 10 is red/black 1st stripe, 11 is redblack 2nd stripe and 12 is black belt

  • i cant wait to learn it. i just got my black belt!

  • Could they slow it down a bit so I can copy it because I want to learn it but it is really confusing

  • thanks

  • Its spelled "Kuemgang" not kumga, and those two kicks in the beginning of Koryo poomse are side kicks not cut kicks. There is a huge difference. lol

  • yeah i remeber when i was i dan now im 3 dan

  • how do you know armando1213?

  • he's probably a student of taekwando.

  • I do this form when I perform on dream team!! That is a performance team for those of you who are not in it! :P

  • Thank you helpful video - Done Kukkiwon way.

  • ty dis helped alot

  • take note two kicks

  • woou lo mejor .... el tae kwon do

  • i do this pattern different i do my shouts on both the leg breaks and at the end
