I don't think the AG36 was around during the era of the L85a1, and even if it was, it certainly wasn't fitted to it until H&K took the rifle and made improvements which made it the L85a2...

No it doesn't. The way to tell the difference between the A1 and A2 is the Cocking handle, A1 has a metal round cocking handle, A2 has a curved plastic cocking handle to deflect the cartridge away from the face.

By the looks of it I'm assuming that the foregrip has only been replaced. so firing it would be the same as before when u last fired it, only this time there's the adaption for a secondary shot of somethin, ive never seen one up close or had a go of this adaption, just guessing by how it looks

An lsw is just an SA80 with a big barrel and a bipod (and a few changes to the gas mechanism but ah well) so of course its like one, the grenade launcher is entirely optional.
