you got it the wrong way around. the longer ones are hair grips/ french pins and the smaller ones that are together are bobby pins.

So much fuss about the pins/hair grips!

I believe the ones with the one straight side and one wavy side are called bobby pins and kirby grips in some places, depends where you go I guess.

The ones with waves on both sides and with a wider space between, are called hair pins..

..but who cares, shes showing you the grips so you know what shes talking about!
