@BeemerKid760 yeah, my dad sold the escalade last year and bought a lexus hybrid instead. went from 14mpg to 25. love the escalade, but the starting price is ridiculously high, and so is gas, and maintenance because it breaks down a lot. so, not the best car realistically.

if thats your dads truck bra its a waste of 50K. I don't mean that in a way for people not to get it but in a way of who buys a 6 banger camaro, who buys a hybrid viper, who buys a motorcycle in alaska. some things you just don't do like buying a base Escalade. nav, 22's, pwr all, led kit, etc is the only way to go. but hey its still a great ryde.

@dorevolution I have one, it takes about 13-15L/100km depending how you drive which is pretty good. Cheapest used one you can get these days is about $33k USD. I like it but for the price, its better to go with a yukon denali which has same engine. A fully optioned yukon denali with same trans and engine is like 2-3k less than a basic escalade. There much easier to maintain than lux. german suvs because its american. I can do almost all the serivce myself. They mostly come AWD but some come rwd.

Its way better than my 2008 dodge ram hemi which uses at least 19L/100km.
