  • This was my fav in 1985 and I use to loose my mind at the Clubhouse in Washington, DC whenever Dj Mandril or Dj Tito would put in on the tables. They would work the

h---- out of it...remixing, working the equalizer and Andrea Scott was on the lights. I was a "Victim of Desire" when I heard this song wanting more...more....more.. When she came to the Clubhouse to perform this song the children lost their minds.

  • Sadly, a few day ago I read in a Philly newspaper that Veronica Underwood (now 53) is in a dire financial situation and receiving food from a charity organization in order to sustain herself and her two children. I hope things get better for her.

  • i was in palma spain in the 80's when this came out .. barely out of my teens .. i loved the whole album.. I really like the son Marry me off the album alot

  • this song is amazing.

  • My Auntie! I love it! Such a classic!

  • Are you related to Philly's Greg Underwood? The Blue's Guitar man???

  • This was the jam. I loved this entire album.

  • My God ! You Tube is fantastic ! I hear "new " things of the 80's that I did not hear in the 80's !!!,it's funny , strange but a wonderful sensation how this makes me happy .

  • LOL!! Check two entries below. I said the same thing. I am like...how could I have missed this??? I was a DJ around the time and I am very familiar with the works of "Ligosa" (i.e. Monet). Also check out Emjay (the girl singer). That's another one that slipped by me...some good freestyle/house music from her!!

  • This song inspired

    'Don't Tell Me Till Tomorrow'

by Angel Clivillés, the original lead singer of The Cover Girls. That song is also on YouTube, you can hear the similarities.

  • How could I have missed this! I am an 80's nut and absolutely love the dance/new wave music from this era. For some reason the name Veronica Underwood struck me as familiar, but I have not heard of this song before (AND I was a DJ in the 80's). GREAT SONG!

  • I wonder what happenend to her. she was awsome

  • She is stil singing up a storm. Just worked with her last month.

  • I heard this on a break from college and brought it back to school with me. This was such a bg hit on our campus. I just finished doing a play with Veronica a couple of weeks ago. She is one of the sweetest vocalist I know.
