Love the set up, exactly what I am looking to do. I love the Vortex PST as well. So now that you have had it for s little while, how is the AR 15 lower holding up?
I use one of these regular and if you go through brownells you can get a match grade trigger that will fit an ar15 and will blow a 50bmg primer. all you have to do is get a heavy enough trigger spring. the original trigger can not be modified much, at lest not enough to get it to a scout snipers liking.
I'm up here in Canada looking to get a 338 upper once I get some money to throw around.
But I was wondering, is there any accessory that makes an AR lower look more like a regular sporting rifle?
Basically, I'd want to ditch the superfluous mag well on the bottom and lose the pistol grip, use a long unported barrel, and put some kind of precision rifle stock with a walnut finish.
Great video, and great weapon. I'm currently trying to choose between 3 different .50's. The Barrett M99, the Tactilite T1, and the Tactilite T2. Do you have any experience with any of these weapons beside the T1? If so which one would you reccomend? and do you think the mag-well on the T2 is worth paying almost a grand extra for?

If it can be done, I'm so gonna do it.

Have you noticed any damage to the take-down pin holes on the AR lower receiver?
