Great news for everyone, myself included, who have been waiting for Season 2 to be released on DVD. Paramount FINALLY got around to releasing it just this last year. Now we have the whole series to watch in its entirety.

i love this intro's visuals and music. would somebody with the entire second season please upload it in at least watchable quality somewhere? paramount isn't releasing season two because there's no monitary gain or movie marketing to tie it to like season one. i'd happily buy it, especially if they took better care xfering it to DVD than season 1. i want to see this again.

The second season was definitely different, Ironhorse was killed off and they tried to revamp the series (gotta love UPN), but I can understand why they cancelled it... you can only do so much before either killing all the aliens or getting conquered! I have Season 1 on DVD, looking for Season 2 now... I already have Nowhere Man on DVD though!

Damn, this is the best quality copy I have seen of the season two intro yet on youtube. Sounds great too. For some reason, I have always liked the music from this intro better than the first seasons. It might have to do with the fact that I saw this season first when originally aired, and then went back and watched the first season later on. Ah, the good old days of watching this show, Friday the 13th The Series, Superboy, and TNG when it first aired.

I've commented on this season on similar sites, and used similar language to describe this unsung series. But I would add that for all the differences in the two seasons this is definately the same race of aliens from the same planet. Mortax and Morthrai are close enough to gloss over any real continuity issues. And youre right, the opening is so inventive, the aliens are never mentioned yet you can feel that they must be behind the unrest.

Personally, i loved the 2nd season better. it's more dark, more terrifying and the whole post-apocalyptic feel is freaking me out even these days. plus, the new aliens are much more aggressive, devious and superior both to the mor-tax and the humans...

and the opening.... god, even now i can feel goose-bumps and chills... no doubt, that was the best sci-fi series ever! =)

Thanks for posting. Geez, I loved this show as a kid. I would set my vcr to tape it because it would come on at 1something in the morning. My parents were so cool to let me do that. Great times and memories. This needs to come out on DVD soon. Again, thanks for posting.

the version I uploaded a couple of years ago had noticeable VHS degradation artifacts and very muffled sound. This looks and sounds just like it did on TV, is this from a DVD release?

nope, i actually have a few episodes on vhs from season two!!! when it was on sfc.
