  • There's a video of a British improvisational drum and bass group The Bays doing exactly this, but with a larger ensemble and multiple composers, all being done in a live performance for well over an hour if I remember correctly.

  • remarkable

  • interesting & it must be a lot of fun to perform.

  • mac approve this adea

  • this is... inspiring.

  • I love this Idea....very innovative....the product of brilliant minds combining ideas...the piece in the beginning is beautiful...does anyone know what elements are used in the piece?

  • RAY LUSTIG IS THE BEST!!! Seriously.

  • C, great job.

That's why you're not answering to emails... :P

Keep your mind busy, it's damn creative one.

  • heyyy

what is the name of that song in the starting

  • smart

  • lol, it's like a DJ but real musicians and sounds xD

  • It's helping the enviroment also. Instead of cutting down the trees for paper.

  • cool

  • Very Good Idea!!.

    Love it.!

  • coool ya man anta cooool

  • Fascinating idea. I am eager to see how it develops. Cristina Spinei is absolutely gorgeous!

  • love the idea now if widebroad all over the planet

  • Im going to have to disagree. The passion that went into writing the music is still there. It was written. The player may even be able to experience their music more, now that they don't have to concentrate on ignoring the other players and paying attention to the conductor.

As a side note, wouldn't this mean they could link computers over the internet and conduct a long-distance symphony? You could link all the masters and they could play from the comfort of their home.

  • Of course they are using macs

  • of course!!!!!!!!!mac is the bests computers in the world!and the best of all is mac pro

  • This is truly a brilliant invention.

HOWEVER: They simultaneously removed all of the passion that went into making all the pieces by removing the human factor with machines.

Produces beautiful music, but what IS beautiful music without passion?

  • I would rather eat hot garbage than play with these clowns.

  • haha

  • I don't believe this puts human musicians out of work. on the contrary it shows how important they are because their on-the-fly interpretation can never be replaced by a robot. this is amazing. the structure is formal but the emotions are human.

  • Lustig. He even has a composer like name.

  • awesome, this is the good thing from it by human

  • Now these musicians will be out of a job once robots start to play instruments.

  • where can we find the full of the intro. music???

i googled a lot by searching "violin flute cello"

but i couldnt find anything like this one

  • so it's like turning humans into a midi voice. kinda duh

  • very innovative

  • cool..!! @_@

  • Visionary ... the dynamics and very good music ..

I believe that with time tend to improve more every hour ..

For an idea of starting up the music ..

    Or is it already possible?

    connecting emotions, ..

  • nice music.

  • just blewing the good classical music with repetitive sounds

  • did that guy think master computer and slave computer was funny? what a douchebag

  • and that's what they're actually called. Don't be a dumbass

  • sounds like The Sims music

  • someone wants to be sponsored by mac... lol <3

  • no macs are just better for this type of whatever it is.

  • Whow, this is made of a lot of awesome; a really nice peace of engineering, cool!

  • oauuuuu :)

  • you guys kick butt, really nice work

  • this is cool

  • I find it offensive that there is a "Master" computer, and that there are "Slave" computers. =p

  • you must be black.

  • lol no, i'm asian. Does that make a difference now?

  • The difference being you're still a douchebag... But I guess that's no different than before.

    P S zero252627 i agree with you !

  • This is really cool.:D Keep up the work.

  • why use musision, lets get robots to play.

  • I wish you great success and luck. Please keep developing this, though as it is, it's a bit hard for me to grasp any revolutionary application. However, I know it can be achieved, keep utilizing that divergent thought!!

    Blessings

  • a new for music composition

  • nice backdrop

  • OMG, that was soooo cool!

  • cool

  • Yeah, cause we don't spend enough time staring at a computer screen as it is.

  • Ooohh... that's civilitation!!!! if you don,t like comments why do you allow them???

  • $50.

  • Just letting it out there:

    The co-founder is pretty hot.

This seems like a great idea. I was especially amazed at the desynchronization feature. I think this would be great for recording orchestras or small ensembles for film.

    Great video!

  • revolution has just began!!!!!!!!

  • All these douchebags use Macs.

Fuck that. I'm tired of Apple's bullshit commercials and the dumb Apple fanatics.

  • macs better for that thats what there built for lol

  • Great work guys!!! It's only a pitty that we can do that only in rich countries where we can have computers...

  • A neat little nugget of an idea. I'd like to see more from this in the future.
