  • watchrecentmovies . info

  • Can not wait for this movie.

  • This movie is going to be pretty damn good, I saw the trailer they presented at Comic-Con and it has me absolutely pumped.

  • He is the best!!!

  • why the fuck is evry1 trippin on Toro not looking white?so theres no UK born latins or hispanics?fuck outta here.

  • oh god come on racists morons, it shouldnt matter who plays wolf man klansmen del toro is a good actor

  • Yeah, del Toro is Puerto Rican and you can tell, but I think he has this ethnic ambiguity to him that allows him to play people of different origins pretty convincingly. He's played a Samoan, a Mexican, even a Russian Jew. He's a good enough actor to where he really pulls it off.

  • Played a jew, huh? Thats pretty cool.

  • Yeah, he played a Russian Jew in "S natch." He's also played a Native American in another movie. Point being that del Toro may be Puerto Rican, but he can pull off playing different ethnicities. As for this movie, del Toro rarely disappoints. I've got my fingers crossed.

  • Anyone who thinks CGI is better, obviously doesn't have high standards. Look at The Howling, or Americian Werewolf In London, BEST transformation effects EVER!

  • I do see a lot of potential for the roll for larry talbot. I just hope he can keep true to the character and comb hid hair back like Lon Chaney had it(slick). Not to mention the agressive said to Talbot when he's angry or curve his eyebrows upwords when he's upset like chaney could do. It's just that Lon Chaney had strong facial expressions and I'd like Del Torod be able to have same Talent for an emotional character. Not just being the werewolf.

  • the man speaking did the make up for american werewolf in london the famous rick baber

  • Yes I know. However I must say...I think The Howling had a better transformation scene done by Rob Bottin.

  • You mean the cartoon looking shadows of people turning into a werewolf? ;)

  • LOL You know what scene I mean.

  • lol Not the werewolf soft core scene?

  • No, but that was still good and kinda hot. LOL

I mean the one where he goes "Relax I just want to give you a piece of my mind." HEHE Gets me everytime.

  • its great to see rick baker again

  • Ilike rob bottin he could have done this movie, he did the howling 1.

  • dont get me wrong I like deltoro.I think hes a great actor. but he just doesnt look white to me. remember how hollywood use to get white people to play indians.a blue eyed indian. And they didnt have the facial characteritics of true native americans. get my point.

  • well i bet if orlando bloom lived in some latin american country, he would probaly be considred like indian mixed but since he lives in england he is just considered white.

  • Your an idiot.

  • Ah,bullshit. white man, my ass. As long he can portray the roll of Larry Talbot was a human being, with strong emotions thats struggling with his beastly alter ego and a monster as well. Beside, ya gotta keep some color in the character's skin, anyways. I just hope he can pull it off like Robert Downey Jr did for the roll of Tony Stark in Iron man, which turned out great. Chaney had strong facial expressions & I Hope he'll have the same talent for that, not just great acting as well.

  • I adore you baker.

  • baker is all grey....im so fucking old

  • He's actually about 58, but he still kicks serious ass.

  • i know...he really isnt old at all...but as i have followed him since his early beginnings...i feel old...and you should go to aicn to see how the production staff effed him over during the filming

  • I heard about that. It's fucked up. I mean, Rick Baker's the man... no one should be giving him shit.

  • the man is a living legend, he was doing with practical effects 30 years ago that they still cant do with cgi...i still believe that the transformation scene in american werewolf in london is the greatest scene ever put on film

  • I know, that was the best transformation scene thus far. He was really excited about trying to top it or atleast give it another go with The Wolf Man. I really want him to be allowed to work his magic.

  • there has to be a way for the fans to have their feelings known

    i want practical effects...not cgi

its so much more fun watching the masters at work and trying to figure out how they did that

in his aicn interview, baker said they really didnt have to do much to del toro, because he is already really hairy and his jaw is huge and juts out

del toro was born to play the wolfman
