That takes all of the leveling up aspect out of the game and ruins it so why would you do that it makes no sence to me because the makers of skyrim already put in skill books and trainers in the game to level up.

I did this glitch today on my second playthrough. It works once you get it but its kinda confusing at first. I think what confuses alot of people is that you have to select "do not read" when you pick it up off the bookshelf. Take it, then read it with L1 through your inventory.

@PG24FLY There's more to the game than leveling. I used this glitch on my second play through and still had a lot of fun. (Who the hell wants to actually engage in the shitty combat to lvl it up anyway, glitch it, and take em down in one, like a real Dragonborn)

I realized this myself:

1. Put book on self

2. Take from self (do not read - you need to be able to drop it)

3. Now read it!

4. drop it after you read it

5. Put back on self

6. Repeat until it cannot be used any more (all skills 100)

Even if there isn't any perks left for conjuration, there is still some good things that can be used with that. I decorate my house with beautiful dead bodies, sometimes I resurrect them just to fight them.

Ok. THIS DOES NOT DISABLE ACHIEVEMENTS WHATSOEVER. I just did the glitch 4 times. Since I was thankfully a lazy bastard for more than 130 hours, I went out and got the hard worker achievement afterwards. I think that proves it doesn't disable achievements. Also. I did this on 360, so it's not patched on that either.

i tried this, but every time i repeat by reading it from my inventory, when i turned the page it didnt ask the "what path" thing. it did when i read it from the bookshelf, but after i read it from there, the book disappears.

I did this glitch, and after I did it, I saved with the book on the shelf. When I took it off of the shelf, it duped. Did it again, with both books, duped to four, then 8. Good money glitch too I guess.

You can use any bookshelf to do this. If you buy a house in Whiterun and get all the upgrades for that house, you'll have a bookshelf.

It's nice to have a way to level everything to 100 easily, but this sequence is fucking annoying as hell to do. One wrong button press and the book will disappear meaning it's back to the last save if you want to level everything to 100.

Yes it does. I have PS3...just did it and it worked fine. Max level from lvl 55 to 80 in roughly about an hour doing the described sequence. If your game is patched to the latest patch, then it will work for you just as long as you do it correctly.

Godskracker store book after you have read it for 1st time like it shows, then back out of all menus, walk up to bookshelf highlight the bookitself now not the shelf, tap read book, it opens up, and gives you option to do skills again, this time u click the do not read option on the far left, then tap take book. Now you have the book as if u never read it and can start whole thing all over again

No, it works.

The next time there is an update for Skyrim THEN there is a chance they patched it or not.

It is all down to the QA (Quality Assurance) people and whether they do what they supposed to do (job wise) and report the glitch or for lol's and/or giggles and/or fun of it they keep it in the game by not reporting it.
