Kim Jong Il just could not get turned on by these two ugly american women, so he finally just gave up and let them go. Real asian girls from asia still the best.
I do think its wrong that they crossed the border. Intentionally or not. But is no reason to call someone sick or wish them dead. I think thats sick. I'm happy that thier back with thier family and I think their experience the last few months is more than enough punishment. Especially consider they set out to help others.
Well now we know the truth. They now publically confessed that the did go into North Korea, that they were filming. They were apparently not starved or tortured or raped as the Ling family said they would be.
Lisa Ling inspires nothing in me. I'm sick of her boring no talent ass and Laura and Euna are ridiculous for crossing the border and then making us come get them. Their situation was their own damn fault. I see no bravery or reason to applaud these two bumbling idiots.
There home now. I am happy for the families.... Hopefully the media will drop this story or atleast start calling it what it is. Two fame seeking idiots return home.
Read the AP they now are confessing that they did enter North Korea illegally. So much for all the lies that were told. Also they were not put in a death camp. Again more lies that were spread. Lisa and Laura are really sick people.
they were caught illegally crossing into north korea from china. when mexicans cross illegally into the US, they are arrested and put into jail. but of course, these two got sent to a north korean hotel and they still didn't feel like they did anything wrong. and now its wall to wall coverage on the current....gawd...

yeah but the thing is north korea is the most corrupt country. if they went there legally the north korean authorities would have a REALLY close eye on them, and take it upon themselves to make sure they don't get anything that might give there country a bad name (even though it already has). me and a couple of friends went there and we were only exposed to festivals and the great food, even though we already know how the country really works.

If American Journalists want to chance illegally sneaking into a country and playing the secret agent game, they had better be ready to go to prison and stay there until the country they illegally enter decides to let them go.

first of all i didn't know her sister is a "celebrity" i thought she was just a journalist for current tv. and there have been many cases where people would enter a country illegally or smuggled drugs, and they got out pretty damn easily thanks to the government. and also i live in canada and i know that if i ever got in trouble in a different country i could just go to the canadian embassy and they would gladly help me. it's not about celebrity status
