I'm with you...I find the vocals irritating...I used to love a good D.J. that could take the instrumental and slam the beats from speaker to speaker!! Maybe mix a few seconds of "I get lifted" in there from time to time...this was one of the ones that could get the crowd crazy...especially at 3 in the morning!
