  • Amazing... i wonder what games will look like in 10 years... and general computing hardware architecture/speeds...

  • So how would this do in my Bitcoin rig? It has a 5870, 5850, 5850, and 5830

  • mindfuck)) need more view angel. very scary benchmark - looks like 5850 really sucks in this game, but it does about 30 fps ingame. pretty good. thanks )

  • Can't even get this to run with OpenCL on any system.

  • Fantastic!

  • @ROyaLxCrYsis:It is done in real-time, just in case you didn't noticed.

  • @ROyaLxCrYsis You do realize this is rendered in real time? Please read the description before making assumptions and insulting people.

  • @ROyaLxCrYsis haha, YOU FAIL!

  • Nice one

  • Interesting concept. I think/hope it will get used in AAA games in next 5 years.

  • Cool

  • this really awesome!

  • this really awesome!

  • gameplay needs work :)

  • I'm seeing the baby steeps of the future of gaming. :)

  • the new crysis

  • Can't help but smile. Impressive stuff. Runs well on my old hardware. :)

  • Well, trying this out on my old notebook with a gt8600 was not a good idea. It freezed the system -.- . Hope my other one will return from its repair soon, so I can test this out ;-)

  • i even edited the config file to run at 720 on my 6850...got about 9 fps in crowded areas and upwards of 60 is sparse areas

  • looks great on high config

  • nothing you cant do on a ps3 LOL

  • Quite a feat. Hopefully the start of a new era, where games use ray tracing, not rasterization.

  • Extremely nice and fast, Would like to see some objects made of triangles ;-)

    Even the motionblur is making me feel dizzy its so damn fast o_O

  • @Cyostasys thats not really motion blur...its basically using the previous frame to cover over the parts that havent changed(like video compression)...at least i think

  • @monstercameron I know it works this way ;-) Its basicly to reduce the noise, but its just to much in my opinion

  • @Cyostasys: you can control the weight used for blending the new frame over the previous one. It can be done by editing the configuration as explained in the Sfera wiki page (sorry, YouTube doesn't allow me to post links in a comment),

    For instance, you can try:

    renderer.ghostfactor.cameraedit=0.5

    renderer.ghostfactor.nocameraedit=0.25

  • @Dade916: sorry, I mean:

    renderer.ghostfactor.cameraedit=0.9

  • wow nice !

  • Amazing! The bump mapping and image based lighting look very nice. Cool that you have made this work on OpenCL.
