  • @BNSFDisneyZildjian its to indicate at what rpms to shift into a higher gear. But i never saw it light up so either im guessing he never hit the rpms he has it set at or its just not hooked up yet. but i couldn't tell you for sure why its not working. just what its supposed to do.

  • @plane45036 your an idiot look up a 2001 cobra it's N/A 4.6 4v and puts out 320 stock. More than w/e car your a fanboy of put out the same year and guaranteed faster stock 0-60 4.8 1/4 13.4. Considering I just sold my 01 Cobra for an 03, I stomped every LS1's ass with only 3.73's and basic bolt on's in the 01. Stock for stock american car wise you have no arguement unless you bring in the Vette. So no power my ass know what your talking about before you speak.

  • @Jamison03SVT Best friend of mine put every fucking bolt on a 01 cobra and made 330whp...my stock ls1 made 320, I put intake and a white trash cut out and made 342, I waxed, If its not a 03 04 cobra i wouldnt ever worry about it, I was more scared of foxbodys than a fucking n/a modular

  • @plane45036 I'd be scared of a 15-16 second car too with a stock LS1 LOL....I have respect for the LS engines but you GM guys can never give any ford motor credit except the one's that ass rape your car's and even then you defiantly admit it. The fact that the 01 Cobra's motor is 1.1 liters smaller than the LS1 but damn near matches it in power that right there should probably tell you it makes power. Let's see you take 1.1 liters off your LS and see what kind of numbers you get.

But stock they were all neck and neck and actually mustangs are always faster by a cunt hair COMPLETELY stock. So hate on Ford all you want but Chevy is the one that makes slower muscle car's from the factory as far as the Mustang and Camaro war's are concerned. You could say Chevy is stupid for staying 2 valve and Ford is stupid for smaller displacement...

    You're dumb as fuck. the pulley size on a supercharger dictates how much boost you run on a supercharged application. The only two ways to increase boost are to run a smaller S/C pulley OR a larger crank pulley. Period. Nothing to do with the tune. So quit fucking arguing.

  • @jackazz911 A 2.8 is not going to throw at more psi at the same boost.Only if your building the motor internally.It runs more boost with bigger pullies than the 2.6

  • @jackazz911 Depends on other mods, a 2.8 and supporting mods, plus exhaust and CAI would probably give you about 580 at the wheels.

  • @braddfordy Most people would, but not all. I got a buddy with a 2.8 running 16 pounds and only making around 580, give or take. It's all about what else you're running with it. There's another guy in the local mustang club i'm in that also has a 2.8 that's running over 700 to the tire i do believe. His car is built though.

  • @Ruskivolk114 superchargers don't spool up, they are directly driven by the engine drive belt. now superchargers do put a drag on the engine, but the power you get is instant, you don't have to deal with turbo lag. but turbos make more power because it's not as hard on the motor when it just has to blow exaust by a turbine, instead of having to drive two rotors in a blower.

  • Who ever said the pulley won't change the sound of the blower is incorrect. The harder you spin it the louder it will get.

The tune makes to ecu adjust to the added boost by adding or subtracting timing and adding fuel to keep the car from running lean! If your gonna comment on a year old post please make sure you what your talking about!

  • @brannon86svo You have no idea what you're talking about dude. Guys run higher psi's around 20 because they upgrade to a larger s/c, such as KB or whipple. The Eaton is a 1.7 liter, I think KB's smallest is a 2.2 liter. You can port the eaton and run a smaller pulley like a 2.6, but I wouldnt want to spin the eaton that much. Basically the more room in the s/c, the smaller pulley you can run, and the more air you can cram in. Like brannon tried to tell you. Tuning has nothing to do with boost.

A tune isnt gonna get you more boost you stupid fuck! when the throttle plate is wide open there is no restrictions for the air so the blower can build full boost, and the faster the engine spins the more air it pulls from the blower so it evens out.....you cant just tune it to spin the blower faster! id love to see u tune a fuckin belt! the only increase you will get from a tune is horsepower and torque...not boost!
