1) Be sure your meetup group is working to get people to become delegates.
2) When you go door to door or whatever, take with you the necessary voter registration forms, and in closed primary states (including California this year!), emphasize that they must register Republican before the deadline.
Who's "they" want to stay and fight? Why would "they" be contributing what little they have to a politician that will bring them back as soon as possible? If your so pro-war, then go to Baghdad and fight because they need you. You said it yourself. The military is not known for donating to campaigns ,especially during wartime. Why are they then? Please Explain...
This is what I have been doing. Whenever I go into a store or meet someone, I start off with: "have you heard of Ron Paul?" If their response is who? Then I proceed to tell them he 's running for President and is huge on the Internet. If they ask more questions I answer, but I do not go into the whole routine about his policies as I don't want them to "switch" off. The whole idea is for me to plant his in their head. Hopefully that will get them to do their own research.
I put a link to a summary of the book in the description section at the bottom. The part that's most applicable is "Selling Your Ideas." Refresh the screen if the link doesn't show.
you say "you cant win an arguement"....but you CAN as i have MANY times by just using the facts and asking everyone to check the facts themselves as Ron Paul does to defend himself and his beleifs.....
so simply......
STICK TO THE FACTS....teachers teach facts from books....learn this life long lesson to check the facts for yourself to have your own opinion...and SPEAK YOUR OPINION.....you might find more people agree with you than you think as Ron Paul has done with the message of freedom
What Carnegie means when he says you can't win an argument is that when you win, the person you are trying to influence will probably resent you. I think the quote may have been more like, "The only way to win an argument is not to get in one."
i myself have started doing this.....i feel it is better to gie them a few things like plan to end the IRS and income taxes(you see the light go on in thier head especcially when talking to people in Wal-Mart) and how he just wants fredoms for the people then i ask them to look on the net (like google or youtube )to listen to Ron Paul speak and see if they agree with him
Hey Jive, dig it: "Thunderous applause also followed when he decried the Patriot Act (ovation No. 4), when he said America should never go to war without a declaration from Congress or because of a United Nations resolution (ovations No. 8 and 9), and when he attacked President Bush's foreign policy and handling of the war in Iraq (ovations No. 11, 12 and 13)." goupstate . com/article/20070722/NEWS/707220341/-1/BUSINESS

I should add a couple of things.
1) Be sure your meetup group is working to get people to become delegates.
2) When you go door to door or whatever, take with you the necessary voter registration forms, and in closed primary states (including California this year!), emphasize that they must register Republican before the deadline.

Very good, as always.
Excellent point about the arguing (as in not to do it).

Good work Jive!
BTW have you watched my video "Ron Paul on YouTube" ? It´s on my video log. Leave a comment if you want.
Just like gin5354 said, I can only support Mr. Paul by making videos and using her music. But it works!
peace!

Well, that´s a good point. I didn´t know that argument before. Maybe there are some who want to be persuaded, but mostly:
Let them discover the policies for themselves!
