Going to show this video to colleagues at work, after the funny looks I got when I pivoted my monitor at work a few weeks ago. Really interesting that the monitor handles the remapping of the screen itself - over 10 years later I had to resize my desktop by hand, the monitor didn't do it automatically.
@chrlsuk Yeah, it's funny, isn't it? I think they mention somewhere in this video that the tilt is detected by a mercury switch, which of course are no longer used in electronics. Still though, it's not that hard to mount a simple tilt sensor inside the monitor.

Interesting that not many monitors today pivot, as the same reasons behind this monitor continue to apply.
