@acidcandycherry yeah this is truly a good movie, don't forget, most of the "english" in Quebec are not english but rather, Irish and Scottish, forced on to boats at gun point and banned from speaking gaelic and forced to adopt the english language
Maybe it's just the internet medium that makes me feel that but... Was there ressentement in your comment? If I startled you or anyone, sorry, that wasn't the intention :# And it was not a -goddamn anglais- comment either. I know French are not the only one that had trouble here. So yeah, my comment wasn't intended to be a sting, but written comment on internet tend to be misunderstood maybe I misunderstood you as well.
@acidcandycherry oh don't worry about it, I didn't take any offence, I was just stating that when this war was going on, there was a war in scotland as well, and that is why so many "English" canadians are here, because after the war, they were forced to come here, the men who took the planes of abraham were the same men who fought in the battle of culloden. (I'm really sorry, I typed you up a nice comment in french and it got erased : (
One of my favorite movies of all time! seriously...I've cried more times than I can remember watching this :D Oh and personally...I think the acting is great & the actors all downright gorgeous to watch :)
The film is not bad,but I am really annoyed by the choice of main actress. She is so ugly that the film is difficult to watch -u just wonder-Why all these men are crazy about her...?
i was an extra on this film, the Greenwich Naval Academy, London shoot, and man, has this film been trashed at ImdB, or what. Bad reviews. But, it looks great, really does, from this Trailer. Id love to know how to find it to watch.
It was sad alright, desperate in fact, desperately annoying!! I cant believe I even BOUGHT this movie!! Its crap, pitiful acting, horrid CGI and 'fake' indoor street scenes.
