My research focuses on the relation between the mass of a black hole and the speed of the stars in central bulges in galaxies. It is really interesting because what I am seeing shows that the black holes at the center of galaxies can effect the motion of stars beyond their sphere of gravitational influence. This behavior has been checked by verifying the relation using other methods of measuring the mass of black holes such as stellar kinematics from nearby galaxies.

They are serving as recycling plants or reprocessing plants and are responsible for every single star in a galaxy. Without black holes galaxies can not exist, not only they supply fresh hydrogen to every star they keep the galaxy together. Black hole itself keeps a very large number of stars closely orbiting it which acts as a bigger single mass which keep the space depressed even more

Here's a thought: What if the singularity within black holes are what was the universe before it was created? Would that not help explain the loss of gravity the more massive a black hole is? The thing is man that what you said would imply that the black hole you were in was created at the beginning of the universe because the only light in the black hole would be that which preceded the 'birth' of the black hole. Also technically by if you could faster than the speed of light then you wouldnt actually travel backwards in time all that would happen is you would catch up with light waves from the past so if you looked behind you it would appear that time was going backwards ish :P
