Just drove one of these two days ago at the SRT Track Experience. The only thing on the track that day that was faster than these Jeeps were the Vipers! I own a Challenger SRT8 and racing it against one of these would be like bringing a knife to a gun fight.

i have an 06 in black. very hard to keep clean. but goddamn when its clean...shes purdy. these things are wicked fast. i drove a highly modded 03 lancer evolution for close to a year. and this thing is almost as fast. my evo ran a 12.6. the best run in my jeep was a 12.98. 6.1 hemi FTW

o man it will set you back and make your butthole pucker if ya give her a little throttle before taking your foot off the brake. that 6.1 hemi in my mind. now that i have driven one. def. compares to the gm 16 valve pushrod v8. the best thing about what jeep did was put it in an awd format.

Actually yes you can. Hemi is just referring to hemispherical combustion chambers. Most manufacturers do this already but Chrysler has the rights to "Hemi" so it's only used when they market their V8's.

@jaydog5120 As far as I know, they have cancelled the SRT8 Jeep line for the time being. There is talk of it being reinstated in 2012, with a 6.4L Hemi this time (WHOO HOOO). But you are right, they did/do make a 2010 Jeep SRT8. I will be picking mine up in a few weeks, so there will be proof!

@ChevyMan2195 It's an AWD system. Normal driving conditions 90% of the power goes to the rear, but it can transfer as much to the front as is needed to maintain traction.
