Telemann was obviously an imagist who most likely would go out into a meadow, lie down perfectly still, then go home and write it all down so that we might listen to this today, on YouTube.

Ha ha I like the way you put it :o) It also fascinates me how the great composers sometimes have the sounds of nature in their music. Often one can hear the inspiration from singing birds. I find it refreshing.
