  • I love The Doctor's new past-time, reading books!

  • If they think hiccups name is long my full name has 33 letters in it

  • DAVID TENNANT READING HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON = AWSOM

  • One of my favorite books being read by freaking Doctor Who. Um. Life made, much?

  • Tennant oh how I miss those trainers

  • David Tennant is so amazing!!!!! This is awsome!!!

  • You should not use movie pictures of the characters as the character designs differ a lot from those of the books. Fishlegs from don't look a bit like in the books. Why not use images from the books? Gotta love the life in them.

  • @AifosViruset xD i didn't expect you watch the video because it's an audiobook but it is a good idea.

  • Gober's physical description sounds more like Hiccup's dad

  • Oh damn, I could listen to David Tennant's voice all day long.

    All. Day. Long.

  • From Daleks to Dragons

( By the way if you watch the Doctor Who Confidential for episode 13 of series 5 when they're at the showing New York in the background there's a poster for the movie )

  • I'm just sitting there... Video starts. "wait this sounds like"

    "voiced by David tennent"

    "OMG!!!"

  • that description of hiccup seems to be one that would have fit david. bawww (':

  • David Tennant screaming stuff about dragons in an even thicker Scottish accent than his normal one is probably the greatest thing I've ever heard

  • Earth

    Heard

    Nerd

    *melt* -3

  • what a sexy voice

  • ooooooohhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I soo gotta buy this book EVER!

  • I'm only listening to this because of David Tennant's voice. :D

  • I love how it says "I was not a boy who could train a dragon with a mere lifting of an eyebrow".

David Tennant could train a dragon with a mere lifting of an eyebrow.

  • Love it when David Tennant reads something.

  • I haven't gone that far into the first book but I'm enjoying the story more. It's more original. The movie's pretty much a generic Dreamworks coming of age story.

  • David Tennant.... Sexiest toothless dragon. Evar.

  • Even though the book and the movie are totally different they are both good

  • this is the frist book that i'd have to admit the movie and the book are both equally entertaing. I love the book but yet I love the movie. I cant say which one is better

  • I could listen to David Tennant read these books ALLLLL day

  • is there a chance of getting the other books?

i have been looking for the 6th, 7th and 8th book but cant find it :(

  • Sunday is Oscar day !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @scifigirl1000 Ye they didn't win.......

  • tenth doctor forever

  • David Tennant is awesome!!

  • Did this audiobook come out before or after the movie?

If before we have the answer as to why the people in the movie have Scottish accents.

  • @PraiseDivineMercy before and yes it's the reason. ;)

  • How old is Hiccup in this. Thanks for uploading this X3 I don't know where I can buy this book

  • @TheKillerJill 10 years old

  • @steph0986 Ah, thank youX3

  • I am going to get this on audio now that I know David Tennant is reading it!

  • Yeahhh...David Tennant's voice is sexy.

  • @1424birdie He was the voice of Spitelout in the movie...the one who said "I'm with you Stoick!" during the meeting in the Mead Hall

  • @1424birdie heeelll yeaah

  • since when was this a book? i thought it was just a movie

  • @movie892 The book is since 2003,

the movie is very loosely based on it.

  • @Becquerelx ha ha it's true i mean the movie is practically a different story itself

  • @Becquerelx Thats one way of putting it :) x

  • @movie892 I have to tell you more than half the movies in theaters are based off books

  • @movie892 The movie is really different from the book, but both are excellent in their own rights.

  • omg david tennant

  • witch one is the one where Charcie(dont know how to spell her name)and Stormfly her dragon

  • @SpeedTyper101 I think I don't have that one

  • @SpeedTyper101 Her name's Camicazi. She's in book 3 (How to Speak Dragonese). There are others with her in it too, but that's the one she appears in first

  • @00ammy00 thanks

  • @SpeedTyper101 it's a hero's guide to deadly dragons. I think it's the first time that Camacazi and her dragon Stormfly are mentioned TOGETHER.

But Camacazi herself is in nearly every book. She first meet Hiccup and Fishlegs in a Roman prision.

  • Does anybody know where i can download this book 4 free in PDF???

  • i thought these books would be long... what their average length?

  • @LoniganTheDragon This book is 197 minutes so average I think 175 minutes.

  • @LoniganTheDragon Around 200 pages. Some are atleast 300. I think that's pretty long considering they're kids books. I read them all the time to my little sister and sometimes she doesn't understand some of the words. But she laughs at all the right moments. They're really very funny books. They'd make a great cartoon show.

  • More people need to listen to this video! Thanks for putting this up!!

  • @MythologyNut01 ye, I agree :-)

    No problem.

  • can u do book 6

  • @Bucklover4 I'm sorry I only have book 1 to 5
