There has to be balance in everything but I think that the Muslim dress is too much cover while skimpy clothes are obviously too little cover.A woman should dress somewhere in between these two extremes and should also have the chance of being comfortable in her clothes i.e not being too hot(as in burqas in hot Middle Eastern countries).

Interesting vid. I like critical views of religion, and there certainly is some hidden sexuality in the stuff you mentioned. But I felt it was a bit too one-sided. You made it look as if all monks and priests are gay and everyone working for the christian church has some kind of sexual complex. And, just cause young boys were in monasteries, it's a rather big leap to assume this automatically lead to pedophilia.

Well I agree that catholic chastity is way too exaggerated, and that monk celibacy is probably not a very natural thing. I like it if people are critical about religions and don't just follow them blindly, but aren't you trying a bit too hard to "convert" people? Well that still requires you to assume that monks have a tendency to be gay, if you'd go searching for partners there. And you wouldn't be acceptable there. Any straight monks would have considered it a sin. There are plenty of other male-only organizations you could go to, e.g. an army or become a sailor. Any quote from the Qur-an that suggests the killing of non believers is mistranslated and/or out of context. -- Religions hold traditions for the sake of keeping the religion alive. Similar to why you eat turkey on thanksgiving. -- there is no mention of homosexuality in the bible. Gay intolerance in the church was adopted by modern societal values (that are just now changing). -- Belief in Angels is not universal and insignificant anyways.

The apostels mission was to witness and record the acts of Jesus Christ example on how to live in Gods way. The apostels left their wives and families to follow the Christ. Their is no inference of gay life with them. I am, however, dissapointed that you continually equate a belief and faith in God with organised religion and its hypocracies. You polarise your argument into atheism or religion. There has to be balance in everything but I think that the Muslim dress is too much cover while skimpy clothes are obviously too little cover.A woman should dress somewhere in between these two extremes and should also have the chance of being comfortable in her clothes i.e not being too hot(as in burqas in hot Middle Eastern countries).

Actually this is a very silly video. Muslims believe in thevirgin Birth of Jesus and sexuality is heavily encouraged as long as you are married so this whole sex-tabbooe thing is a Catholic/Christian thing. Plus Islam doesnt recognize living a sexless life, God made sex so why be ashamed? Plus women only cover infront of strangers not infront of their bf's husbands, dads or brothers. And women r told to cover in the BIBLE 1 Corinthians chapter 10! It instructs us to dress modest not slutty!

Interesting vid. I like critical views of religion, and there certainly is some hidden sexuality in the stuff you mentioned. But I felt it was a bit too one-sided. You made it look as if all monks and priests are gay and everyone working for the christian church has some kind of sexual complex. And, just cause young boys were in monasteries, it's a rather big leap to assume this automatically lead to pedophilia.

Think about it your gay; which up till recently was totally unacceptable. Where could you go and find other gays and be acceptable? I did not say everyone. I knew straight priests all which, about 6, ended up having relationships with women. My goal is to have people question religion not to be fair. That's for them to figure out.

Sorry, but you need to get your facts straight. Who says ALL religions were started by men? (I don't know a counter-example, I don't know all religions, but there must be one) Or that ALL limit sexual behavior? Have you checked the pagan ones? And the number of gays vs number of priests could well be a coincidense. You know parallel figures don't always have to be connected. I don't see how being a priest helps your being gay. You'd still have to live it out in secret, where's the difference?

You're right, christianity, judaism and islam, the three religions who are most prominent RIGHT NOW, were started by men. But that's just cause men have been dominant these past couple of millenia. A woman wouldn't think of that until recently. Why mention this? Are you saying men are more religious?
All religions try to control sin, of course. And I guess it makes sense that they consider it wrong to give in to your animal instincts too much. They then probably just drove it a bit too far.

Hmmm, Mohammad was a pedophile hung up on young virgins. These guys in TX claim different levels of heaven based on some combination of children from different wives. Historically, all these religions were started to meet some guys sexual needs. King Henry wanted sex with another women BANG a new religion. Catholics are really confused sexually, even today. And in Mohammed's time it was normal to marry such young girls. He hardly needed to found a whole religion for that. I don't doubt it's likely one or the other preacher in history will have twisted Religion to fit his needs, but to make that a general rule?

You'd have to have been a catholic to understand how catholic girls are made to feel guilty about sex. Then there's priests and nuns--about as confused as can be, I'd say. If it was normal it was still wrong and muslims don't say it's wrong so, one can only assume they are OK with it. My goal is to plant seeds of doubt so people quit believing in a nonexistent god. If they want to disagree well they are just blinded by poor judgement.

Well I agree that catholic chastity is way too exaggerated, and that monk celibacy is probably not a very natural thing. I like it if people are critical about religions and don't just follow them blindly, but aren't you trying a bit too hard to "convert" people? That makes you no better than christian missionaries who say "I'm trying to make people see how wrong atheists are, so they see only christ is the truth." And it's rather narrowminded to say "those who disagree with me are blinded".

Well that still requires you to assume that monks have a tendency to be gay, if you'd go searching for partners there. And you wouldn't be acceptable there. Any straight monks would have considered it a sin. There are plenty of other male-only organizations you could go to, e.g. an army or become a sailor. You could use your arguments for them just as well. I think you're "begging the question".

Well my faith is firm I believe in GOD, and it is not so obvious im my opinion that it was allowed in the past really if u look at the position of the priesthood married ppl cant be priests ether, so someone sexual active is the same, in ether preference. The position of the priesthood has a meaning and if you choose to be catholic you would need to respect that meaning behind why you are becoming a priest, now not everyone HAS to be catholic but those who are should understand the meanings on

The pope recently said he wanted not to allow gays in the priesthood. Gays were obviously allowed in the past. The "other side" in the religion argument in well known. My goal for the video is to have people doubt there religious beliefs. Celibacy is very hard to maintain. The first gay I ever new was a Jesuit brother. I new many gay priests and nuns; I don't think it was a coincidence. As being gay becomes more acceptable the number of priests and nuns decline proportionately --another coincidence. Take care

Actualy, Moses "sold" me that. Lot's daughters got him drunk, making him unaware that he was having sex. In further comment, homosexuality, as in a commited relationship, was almost non-existant in biblical times, but homosexual acts were common, especialy in Greece, where there were semi-committed relationships. Sexual orientation is a new concept. Out of curiosity, how much of the Bible is baced on truth, in your opinion? Who is the first "real" biblical character?

Hmmm--good ? Any references to god, angels,miracles are not true. Roman historians wrote about Pilot. All the names in the bible are a gray area to me. How do modern authors pick character names? Toniesha begot Keamo-- I mean all those names were invented by a writer not handed down some how. Real ones would be those found both in the bible and in validated historical writings before the fact, I guess.
