I have never seen this movie, but wonder if the creators of Smallville purposefully used Earth Angel in the Clark/Joe Lana/Louise flashbacks. It's adorable though, and soo glad they ended up choosing Annette for the role.

@auroreanfly No doubt about it. They are very aware of these things...and Relic was no different. In the 200th episode (Homecoming) Clark goes to his 5 year reunion at SV high...They even steal Annette's yellow dress, rip off about a foot or two to make it more revealing, and plaster it on the wrong girl alluding to Lana even though lois will never be as special to Clark as Lana. They do that kind of throwback to comics/movie ALL the time.

Lana Lang even mentioned that Clark's mum passed away at 43 secs but in SUPERMAN RETURNS, she is alive and well. Plz make up your minds script writers lol

Note: Marty Mcfly was a character from Back to The Future series and played my Michael J Fox ...im sure theres a vid or two from Back to the Future here in youtube... ^^

I really liked how the director used their class album photo in the scene where Clark and Lana see each other after a long time. A very good scene, specially the way they look, a bit surprised and happy.

Why i Superman I they listen Rock Aound the Clock (a 50's song) if the grow clark was in the end of 70's ?? So the young Clark would be in the 60's while on Smallville in Superman I.

Why not? They had a cover of "Rock Around the Clock" in "The Karate Kid Part II", and that was an 80s movie. Some songs cross generations. :)

I refer about a scene from Superman I, where we see the youngest Clark, and Lana in a car with Bratt, and they were listening Rock Around the Clock, a 50's song. This class reunion is from Superman III, in 1983. The youngest Clark wille in high Scholl in Smallville was in the very late 60's or early 70's.

Christopher Reeve is just great here. Well, he's always great :) And Annette O'Toole shows a bit of clumsiness too in this scene that makes them look alike in some moments. I agree that Superman III has its ups and downs. All the Smallville storyline is the main reason i like this movie.

Oh, and in that young Lana's portrait, Annette looks a bit like Kristin Kreuk.

I love Superman 3, even though most people don't like it. The best parts was that Clark met Lana and went back to Smallville. Mean Superman and the battle between the good and bad was great too.
