It's game they made this low-sales game outside of Japan cheap to increase their sales. Whether you say it's their supposed "humanitarian side" or it's actually by the behest of Sony who have little regard for outdated-looking 2D fighters everyone benefits. And the cover for the manual is better than the rubbish Jap one also, no surprises.

2003: Appearance of the trickster Ash Crimson who's out to steal the treasures of Kyo, Iori and Chizuru, he procceds to steal Chizuru's mirror. Also has the appearance of the mysterious group of "those from the past".

XI: Ash steals Iori's flames and warns Kyo that he's coming after him next.

many of the new SNK games were a little dissapointing. Both NGBC, SVC, 2003 and KOFXI could have been a lot better. The sound sucks in all of them. Music is good, but the feel of punches and kicks is really weak. It doesn't help that the bosses are annoying as hell and the PS2 conversions flawed. I'm crossing my fingers for KOF XII to set a new, better standard
