@WonderfulAkari Yea, but isn't that when they're at the BlackWarGreymon Arc? So yea, that's kinda too late to give us an explanation for what he did back at the Digimon Emperor Arc.
Why the hell didnt they develop the Episode 13 storyline? That episode was really interesting and would've been a lot cooler instead of just destroying random MacGuffins over and over! It also would've tapped back into the "creepy" side of Kari that she (briefly) showed in the episode where Tai goes back home in Series 1... Which i think is actually my favorite episode of any Digimon series. :)
I always liked TK and Kari in Series 2. I dont know why exactly as they dont get much character development, but they just seemed like fun likable kids that you wanna hang out with, unlike the new characters! They really should've ended up together but it was heavily implied in Episode 13 so thats all we're gonna get i guess... Oh yeah and they were in the first series which gives people who watched that more to hold on to. Even if they were pretty annoying back then!
I forgot this in your Digimon1 review, but I thought it was stated that Matt and TK were Half brother. Still not explain correctly a child split up with the parents, but it does kinda explain it.
I actually liked Kari more here than in Season 1. She was freakishly-perfect when she was younger. Season 2 made her more human by giving her spunk, fears and doubts.
I also don't like TK's retcon issue with darkness. Ken scene aside, it's incredibly out of character, forced and inconsistent. And I don't buy Cody's acceptance of it after Matt explains the reasoning to him. Why couldn't Cody have confronted TK himself and just-
Tk would have been a better leader and I think he would have been better written if the spot light was put on him more, but other than his bad ass scene and the forced development with cody his only moments are when he's reacting off of someone else's moments.
I liked Kari. She had a very interesting flaw that she suppressed any negative feelings for others because she didn't want to hurt anyone but this caused a bit of negative build up, and it was a stark contrast to other characters.
A. I feel that Takari was a perfect shipping couple and the major one I support. B. Tk going from a peaceful soul to turning the Digimon Emperor's face to hamburger in all that glory was shocking and AWESOME!
I loved the T.K kick's Ken's butt scene, it was always one of my favorites. remember kids, don't screw around with the powers of darkness, or T.K will come and beat the crap out of you : D

When he claims Ken doesnt know about the powers in the Digiworld, he is right. TK went to the Digiworld when he was a kid and was trapped there for possibly several months (depending on how much time passed when Tai went to the real world for that one episode). In that time, he watched Devimon almost destroy his friends, Myotismon almost destroy his home in the real world, and the Dark Masters turn his friends into key chains. Ken doesnt know what powers the Digiworld holds
........... I.... don't even remember that scene with Ken for some reason. I remember him sort of confronting him at his base and calling Ken out, but...... not like that.
I remember as a Kid I hated this season except for the CHimeramon episodes, and that moment where TK beats the crap out of Ken was what kept me watching a little longer than I would have.
I LOVE THE SCENE WHERE T.K. FIGHTS KEN SOO EPIC TO ME AS A KID :DDD and it still kinda is :D AAAA I LOVE THIS SCENE SOOOO MUCH :DDD TAKERU IS MY FAVE :DD
Holy shit TK became badass. Davis needs to hand the goggles of leadership over XD

I would have thought TK would have been leader too, given that hes one of the original destine.

At least Nene in Xros Wars was well developed. Same goes for Rika and Jeri in Tamers.
