I had forgotten that attorney & longtime Reardon family friend, Derek Colby (who worked w/ Mike Bauer) had been attorney Nola had hired in her custody suit against Floyd Parker (originally, later she {& Quint} would turn to Mike). Also had forgotten that despite fact that Vanessa had written that nasty letter (signed as Nola) about Hillary (Derek's onetime fiance) & Tony's (Nola's brother) relationship, Derek never blamed Nola for that -- & continued to be Nola's only male platonic friend.
