Dude im trying to tune my damn electric guitar with my tuner but, how the fuck do i get the lights to light up after pluging in the input in the tuner and output in the guitar??

make sure battery is in, guitar volume is up etc

also helps a little bit to put neck or neck+middle pickup as it will be a better signal for the tuner

Almost all music (apart from some classical, old recordings that were on tape & sped up to make em tighter, and people who want to be weird) is in 440

@dpapaioannow yeah, but in pop, rock etc (ie most music), as I said 440 is pretty much the standard. Also drop D & double drop and open tunings have no relevance to what we're talking about, as they could be in 440 or any other concert pitch

some big bands (like a killer UM band) tune up to like A443 to get a sublimially different sound (it only works if EVERYBODY tunes to A443)
