rare Im lost for words I love Roys music, the best but this particular track leaves me speachless playing the track as often as possible its so soothing to hear perfection and only a shame we dont hear it every day on radio im sure the world would be a better place. Roy you was brilliant.
From Only The Lonely-1960 i am a fan of the Big O, i've seen his Black & White Night show in the Cocoanut Grove way back in the eighties together with several other great music stars. Like been said before by other great singers, they don't make 7 grow singers like Roy anymore, his warm & tenderly voice was unique. Just like his duet with Raul Malo from The Mavericks, Bridge Over Troubled Water.
Thank you Roy for sharing your indescribable talent with the world - such an ANGELIC voice!!! Countless hours, nights, days, etc of sheer enjoyment I have received from your voice/music. You have always been and will always be my favorite male vocalist ever.....
R.I.P. - a true artist we lost 22 years ago but will never be forgotten.

Greatest singer that ever lived, sheer brilliance, nobody ever came close to him then , and nobody has ever come near to him since, he was just pure magic to listen to.
Brilliant song, how many other artists put this type of quality has a flip side, both could have been number ones. Sorry I forgot , Im talking about Roy Orbison now , he did this with all of his recordings, sheer brilliance, sleep peacefully Roy.
brings back memories for me of my mother cleaning the house on saturday mornings with roy's songs blasting out of the record player.great song, unparalleled artist
@errolma Pure genius, what a flipside , but most of Roys B tracks should have made number one as well, what about " Youll never be sixteen again " flip side to " Too soon to Know " , must have been a lot of wax in the ears in those days.
Not one of Roy's best known hits, but in my opinion, one of his best songs! A masterpiece, done by a true master! It is absolutely chilling when he sings the Indian Brave's song the third time in the highest key! Thank you for posting this!
Heard this in the late 60's when I borrowed a set of Roys 45's from my cousin and spent hours listening to this track with the first love of my life, God bless Roy thanks for the songs and memories never forgotton.
This is with out a dought the Best Best version - Great composition = Roy's magical voice has no equal - Thaks for thie post - This is the first time I hear this version and I'm moved to add this comment - Thanks 5 Star
Does anyone remember 45s? This terrific little tune was the B-side of a 45 which had "It's Over" as the A-side. Neither song was something you'd hear at a sock hop.
I always loved this song. amazing b side!

It is without doubt this was Roy Orbison at his best.
......Love 'NewarkAce spelling.... 'Dought' Perhaps he is referring flour mixed with water.
Roy has a wide audience

@tomtat38 Yes, made me smile too. But the sentiment is perfect even if the spelling is off. :)

i love 45's. the sound quality is ever so much better than nowadays typical "digital" recordings, in my humble opinion.

I agree another Orbison beaut. On the flipside 45 of "Its Over" 1964.

What a single! "It's Over" on one side and "Indian Wedding" on the other. You don't get such quality these days. You don't get such singers either.
As Elvis Presley said of Roy: "One of the finest singers of all time."
