I've played completely through B/W about 7+ times now, no repels ever for max wild encounters, have had thousands of wild encounters on there, but still no shinys :( Pokerus twice, but no shiny. How the hell does that work

you should pur Foresight, or one of those moves that allows you normal type moves to hit Ghost types, this way you can use False Swipe. Great video btw! Chandelure is my favorite Shiny of all time! That and Emboar!! I subbed for sure!

Yeah I think it's because easy to fight litwicks consecutively at that tower, so that increases your chances of finding a shiny.

@LeaveStuffAlone No, sadly no way to increase the chances. I've done over 8500 SRs for Volcarona now, so my luck hasn't lasted. Thanks for the sub!

@StewienerGriffin It's quicker to find a shiny in dark grass since you get double encounters quite often, so choose the darker grass when possible. Or just do the same old-fashioned soft-resetting method for legendaries or other non-moving Pokemon (such as Musharna on Fridays).

@StewienerGriffin Some people who have looked into the game's code confirmed the chances have not changed since the 4th-gen games, except with the Masuda Method. Nah, there isn't a Poke Radar.

I agree, and that was a good use for my second and final Master Ball! Zekrom is in my first, because of how hard it is to SR for a good one (you've seen what I mean now?)

@SpectreGames Thanks for the sub, and shiny hunting is just a matter of luck; you have to be persistent until the luck comes to you. It will seriously test your patience. If you want to hatch shiny eggs, you have much higher chances if one of the parent Pokemon is international.

@ShinyDragonKak That's cool how we got the same nature; I assume you were also using a Synchronizer that failed? I was using a fainted Modest Elgyem, and made sure they still work when fainted in B/W. Nah, mine had fairly lame IVs: 10-11, x, 16-17, 28, 18, 1-3. The Sp. Attack was lucky, the Speed ruined it. Anyway, thanks for commenting and liking my video!

@DrDimentio, indeed, nope just used my Watchog to increase encounter rate as its kinda low at that tower, yeah mine has better speed but on the whole I think yours is better. No worries I use it as my Flame Body Pokemon to hatch eggs so I'm sure it likes me 100% with all these steps I have made xD.

@pokechao196 Nah, it was nothing to do with patience... as you can tell by my National Pokedex video, I do have a lot of patience. It focused properly in the morning when filming the evolutions at least. There hasn't been much at all on BW RNG Abuse in the past few months, I don't think RNG Reporter will be updated for BW any time soon.

@DrDimentio Funny thing happened coz i was trying to get a feebas on sapphire for like 30 hours and got a gold magikarp and evolved it thinking it'd be awesome, on sapphire it looked pink so i was like omfg!!!!! But then realised it was red and everyone can get it red, i was like *facepalm*

@RussianStuntmen I know, back when I got my shiny Magikarp/Gyarados it was January 2009 before HG/SS had been announced, so it was annoying that almost everyone has one now. Oh well, ours are more special because they're rare!
