  • i'm not christian, but i love his music. I was on his concert and it was awesome.

  • you're welcome! (for watching)

  • God bless u Paul Coleman. Thank you Jesus.

  • love this song it is the best

  • love this song

  • amen !!!

  • i love this song! i didn't know it was pretty old. it's still pretty popular though!

  • Met and talked to Paul at the Norwegian Seaside festival at it was truly one of the best moments of my life when we all sang to this together ^^

The only difference between christian music and regulare pop-music is that you just swap out Jesus for a girl :P kinda funny to think about.

  • Me and my brother's favorite song!

  • he sings like OUTLANDISH

  • i've been trying to find this song name for EVER god bless you my friend

  • This song is beautiful, I cannot tell you how much I needed this song today.

  • Love that, God's love never change. Thanks you.

  • How, exactly, does one question their race...?

  • @carulian He may ask himself why he is white not black, and why he's treated better then.

Or why different races are treated not the same.

  • He was in norway last night, i stod right next to hiM! :D

he ROOOCKS ! :D bless him

  • does this song like HAS to be about god? i personally think it can also be someone that just love you ... at least thats how i understand it (im atheist btw)

    still gotta love this song

  • @TooEarlyAndTooLate

Well, it is about a love that doesn't go away. God is supposed to be that, and it's tricky finding anything that lasts that long. If you find someone that does hang in there for you, then all things be with you.

  • @TooEarlyAndTooLate Although this song was originally meant to be interpreted in a Christian context, (at least I'm pretty sure :p), the content of the song talks about love and truth. It is considered Christian because one of the fundamental tenants of our faith (and the most important in my opinion) is love. Thus by talking about love, Christians interpret this song as God (contextually) because we believe that God is love.

But to answer your question, no it does not :D

    Peace and Love Bro.

  • 6 people haven't accepted God into their hearts =(

  • i love this song. Oh my Gosh. it makes me cry. I LOVE GOD!! I'm so thankful I grew up with Him in my life. I don't know I'd be if I hadn't

  • I love God and this song.. God has helped me in my weakest times:) I love him:)

  • You know Paul might be sincere, but I bet 9 times out of 10, most of the people who sing this song have that one person in mind that hurt them. Like your boyfriend or something. So you'll be like "And the one thing I don't question is you, you really love me, like you say you do" as opposed to that boy down the street who told me he loved me two weeks ago lol. church stuff.

  • Jesus my strength and redeemer, may you all come to experience his love in your life!

  • My favorite song in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jesus Christ you are my everyrthing Glory to your name on highest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Come I need your love my Jesus Hold me Jesus I'm lost w/out you!!!!!!!!!!! <3 :)

  • Saw him in Vegårdshei 02.02.2011, also at seaside last year :)

  • Aww..... I like this song<3 and keep faith in God :)

  • he came to my school he was awesome

  • @DSCoops9397 I am a christian, but I have always struggled with trust. I was in a very rough place in life and seriously considering suicide. But I came across the song and something just told me to blindly trust God just like he tells us to, and over time, I have come to honestly believe He has a reason for everything.

  • amen dude, amen.

  • This song saved my life... literally...

  • @fqusir How? Were you like not christian before and chose to be one? Were you like going to commit suicide? Or is it the whole "turn away from your sins" thing? I'm not sceptical, I've been baptised myself. I'm simply curious

  • me gusto mucho =) la pase a cantar ahora para el festival de la feria de ingles! pero me salio mal porque adelnate una parte la de hold me holde me ^^ pero igual amo esta cancion =)

  • it is difficult not to question it... but to want is to believe and even if difficult when I do it, I feel a warm touch inside that makes me feel that there is something and that it is with me. : )

  • he came to my school and he was soooo cool

  • Great song..and a great message!

  • i realy love this song!!

i also heard it the first time in the curch

  • i have only heard this song for the first time at church tonight on 01/11/09.

  • this song is what keeps me lovin' him :D i love this song. i love the melody so much :)

  • I have ALWAYS loved this song. I have memories of my mom listening to this when I was a baby, and it's always touching. When I became a born-again Christian, this song really meant a lot to me. I've grown up in a Christian home, but this song is always a new breakthrough! It's always amazed me how God works throughout songs.

  • How old are you AprilJoygirl - as this song was only written and recorded in 2005!!!!

  • i <3 thins song so much i listened 2 it maybe 100x i luv it!!!!!!

  • This song always brings me to tears whenever i listen to it.

I grew up with a great family but I was raised as an agnostic. I did not turn to God until college and 5 years later I still struggle with faith. It is hard when you are the only member of a family full of doctors and scientists, who believes in something greater.

I rely on songs like this to keep my faith going in the right direction! Bless you for putting this up:)

  • Get a book called "The Philosophical Scientist" by David Foster (cheap used on Amazon), and read Ch. 14 (I think it is). You WILL have a reply to the doctors and scientists in your family. Best of luck w/ your walk w/ the Lord. =D

  • Your reply literally brought me to tears. Your heartfelt response and good advice reminds me of why I found my way to Christianity in the first place. The true kindness and compassion is evident in every person I have met who has found their way to Christ. You may have helped out this lost 26 year old girl more than you know!

  • =D We are all brothers and sisters in Christ.

The cool thing about that book is that it uses logic and mathematics to prove God's existence. You can spout bible verses all you want to an atheist, and it will make no difference to them. This book just might get them to think in another direction.

  • I just thought I'd let you know that I will pray for both of you. jpeopolis - that your faith continues to grow. eriknrobyn - that Jesus would continue to work through you :)

  • God speaks to many of us through music..for me its a song called THIS LITTLE CHILD by Scott Wesley Brown. A book called IN SIX DAYS..[ ISBN 1 876 8 2557 X ] by 50 prominent world Scientists will help you immensely in your struggle with faith and your family of non believing Doctors & Scientists. Belief in God is a result of our own personal experince of Gods call and not an intellectual choice or decision...you belong to the lord. Bless you in His Name.

  • @jpeopolis keep your faith up, He will always be there for you and remember you can do and over come anything in this world through Jesus Christ because he stengthens us.

  • i heard this on the radio and i lurve it

  • Awsome Song hope to sing it in church one day Lord Willing. The one thing we can never question is God.

    Amen

  • Paul is pretty awesome. Ive talked to him on flekkerøya in Norway :D

  • very peaceful song. i wish i never have moments when i question Him. In this life, where you have more down moments, its hard not to wonder 'what's my purpose' but i try.

    God bless!

  • I heard this on the radio this morning on the way to school after a really scary weekend.. and I just felt God present in my car. It was the most amazing feeling. Never question God! He has a plan for everything.

  • i just listen to this in the car a few minutes ago and i had to come find it to listen to it again i love this song!!

  • cool song lol jk * :) *

  • I've heard this song many times and every time we listen to it we are inspired to come closer to our Creator and talk to Him who listens to our prayers IF they come from a sincere heart and knowing He is faithful in listening to us!!! Praise be unto HIM

  • saw paul at summer madness in kings hall belfast last monday...........a pure legend.........the way he interacts with the audience is amazing.......

  • I was at the front of his gig he is amazing, way better live!such a beautiful song...i gave him a chip :) said he like my pig tales hehe

  • i saw him live for 2 days ago... i'll. never forget it.. cause.. it made me stunned.. u should all have seen it *smiles* he made all the ppl sing with him and.. lift their hands up in the air.. it was so amazing.. <3 totally love him <3!

  • Yeah! Seaside festival in Norway, right?

U did very well Paul! We think u were the best artist on the festival! Wed like u to come over next year! :D

  • yeah! x3 it was totally awesome. =3

  • great song!

  • i love this song! let us pray. oh god i thank u for all you have done. for the help and for bringing me through the hard ship. AMEN!!!

  • God will always take you back, no matter how lost you feel. He's always got His arms wrapped around you. Don't be afraid. Your sins are paid for. You can't be lost from Him, He always knows right where you are and is ready to take you back. Pray, read His word, because the one thing is that He'll always love you and always be there :)

  • I'm certain that there are people out there far more qualified to help you, but having sat in your seat just a couple of months ago. I can tell you that it's been hard ... believing again. There are days i question whether my prayers are even heard and whether or not I'll ever be able to feel His presence again. If anything, just feel again. And, so I pray. I talk to Him. Disapointment is inevitable but misery is an option.

  • it's good to see so many people believe in God and can turn to him but what if someone has lost thier faith and is just lost in general

  • I know this may seem silly or just sound off the point especially when lost with little to no faith left but PRAY. Even if it just feels like blowing words in the air. In the end, what have you got to lose. Pray and just talk to Him. Hardest thing is to close your eyes and fall back but He will be there to catch you.

  • It's just hard to believe again I still go to church but it just feels empty and pointless

  • I know your meaning. To me Church had become a routine. Something that we all did, like going to work mon-frid. I felt nothing when i sang along or bowed my head to pray and it seemed unfair that my life was the way it was, while others were smiling. For the past 2 years, my faith, religion were both lost.... and, no i did not have that "one" moment when i knew i was lost. My emptiness hungered me for something, so i decided to close my eyes and try with everything i have to believe again.

  • woooooooooooooohooooooooooooooo!!!!!! i luv this song, HAHAHAH!!! Praise God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • We should all remember that God is always at work within us, and that trials make us stronger, and we can ALWAYS go to God for ANYTHING. He is my best friend, father, and most importantly my one and only Messiah and Savior. I am only 12 and look what God has done for me. Now it's my turn be His disciple and to make a difference as a Christian in this world. And as I go through my life-long journey, I can always remember: at the end of the day, His love remains.

  • @trustingGodsince02 AMEN!! :) look up Soulfest if you live in the U.S. It's an amazing 4 day Christian music festival. i've been going for 4 years. It's life changing. talk to ur parents or guardian. i bet you would love it. theres sooo many spiritual things and it's a good time to just get away from everything else going on in the world.

  • Comment removed

  • @trustingGodsince02 amen you keep the faith and never give up God is good :)

  • @trustingGodsince02 You have brought tears to my eyes literally, you have a testimony, I love that, keep living with god man, don't fall into silence and jaded complacency from the clattered voices of the world. Keep living out loud. You are in prayer.

  • @trustingGodsince02 That's just so true!^^ I, however, don't like to tell people I'm a Christian when they ask.. because if you tell them you are, you also accept all the prejudgements against a Christian.. I always say "It's not about being a religios Christian, it's about loving Jesus and not question God. He loves all, like he sais he do.. ;]

  • @trustingGodsince02 Amen :)

  • This is a very uplifting and encouraging. It speaks the truth: the only thing that we don't have to question is God's love for us and desire for us to be in Heaven with Him. But we can only do that if we are saved through His son, Jesus. We can always count on God to be right beside us holding our hand, and although it might feel like God has forsaken us, He is actually closer to us than we think.

  • smiles :)

    luv this song!

    God Bless~

  • this song came on as soon as I re-confessed my love for Christ. I struggled with my walk for so long and finally let myself go back to the LORD! and to prove that HE was with me, as soon as I said "take my soul!" this song came on the radio

  • I love this song! God's love is never questionable--He's always there for us, and this song by Paul Colman is a testimony of this irrevocable truth. Praise Your Name, Jesus!

  • Yesterday I was at a praise-evening and there they showed a videoclip of a song about a girl that felt very miserable and didn't go to church anymore, lost her faith. But she wanted to go home but couldn't. I reminded me to my sister. Does someone know the song I'm talking about? Thanks.

  • Is it maybe "Saving Grace" by Point of Grace or "Does anybody here her" by 3rd day?

  • Yes, it was Does anybody hear her performed by the Casting Crowns I believe.

  • Oh, your right it is Casting Crowns. I pictured the group, but thought the wrong name. :)

  • Alright:)

  • this song has changed my life and has made me realize that i need to go and do something with my life and help others and that God is important and that we need to do things to help everyone even ourselves

also this song has made me realize that God does love me no matter what i do so i have to thank you for writeing this song and for posting and for just everything thanks so much for the wonderful message that every1 should here

thank you word for playing christan music may God bless

  • I just wanna say that this song is awesome and it has a message that sounds so simple, yet it goes deep into one's spirit and confirms what people so desperately need to know! A related truth that God has impressed on me lately is that every one of His commands to us are for our own benefit -- he requires obedience because he LOVES us! When people really grasp that, it changes their lives; it has changed mine.

  • Thanks SoldierBelow for taking the time to put the words to the song on the net. I love that. I like to take my guitar and try to play along and it's a great way to do it this way.... Bless you!

  • I've been really depressed right now, and this song has just helped me out. I've been questioning alot of what is sung in this song. Thanks for posting this video. Glory to God. God Bless Guys.

  • Amen

  • To all the people who keep arguing about Catholicism vs. Protestantism:

CUT IT OUT RIGHT NOW! All you are doing is causing divisions in the church with your pointless arguing. We are Christians and that is all that matters! We believe in Jesus and that is all that matters! We should be one fellowship of believers, but we can't be when people are arguing about trivial matters like this. I was raised Pentacostal and one of my best friends was raised Catholic, but we are both Christians!

  • I agree... loving one another is one of the most important commandments

  • Your Maker would be ashamed of you.

  • his is a really great song---who wrote it??has it got any airplay??---keep up the good work !!

  • Sweet song

  • I've really enjoyed watching your vid --it's a great song... thanks for posting! :)

  • love this song!!! one of my favorites ever

  • Love this song!

  • I love this song!! Thanks for posting!!

    Peace & Love in Christ.

    Sandy

  • I've seen the version on EWTN with Pope John Paul and Pope Benedict, it fits so perfectly.

  • AMEN!

  • love this song. thanks for putting the actual version of it on here, everyone else has stupid covers.

  • LOL

  • I'm not Christian, dunno if I believe anything. Maybe too much of two-faced society, maybe too many churches pushing a demanding fiercesome God. But this song gives me some sense of faith, of hope, of the persistence of love, gives me some means of hanging on.

  • I read your comment and I was somewhat inspired. I was raised as a Catholic and knew GOD was real but didnt really believe. I have found listening to this music has brought me closer to him. If you have a KLOVE station in your area, I would recommend you listening. It will minister to you and change your life like it did mine!

  • To rosemier

I hope you come back to the Catholic Church. Turn to EWTN. It's a Catholic channel on cable. But don't just watch one time. There are so many shows that you have to give it a chance by watching for at least a week or two and at different hours because of the variety of shows they have.

You can also listen to Relevant Radio. They have it on the internet too in case you don't get that station. I like "Searching The Word" and "The Inner Life." They come on at 1 & 2PM ET.

    Peace

  • God isn't a fearsome and demanding God. He is a God of love and he IS love. Jesus was a testament to that.

  • To twitchbunny

"maybe too many churches" is right.

There is only ONE Church that Jesus Christ built and that is the Catholic Church.

All Christians that were baptized with water in the name of the Father, Son & Holy Spirit are my brothers & sisters in Christ & are part of the Body of Christ. But there is only one Church that Jesus established on this earth and that is the Catholic Church.

God is LOVE & Mercy. The bible says 365 times, "be not afraid." One for each day of the year.

  • For one Religion is man-made and unreliable, regardless if you call yourself a christian or catholic or whatever, none of it matters unless you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. see next

  • Religion is GOD-made! God established JUDAISM. Jesus came to FULFILL all what has been established in the Old Covenant. Jesus did not come to abolish the Law & the Prophets but to fulfill them.

    Matthew 5:17.

That fulfillment came when He died on the cross and the Catholic Church was born from His side when blood & water gushed forth for all of us.

Catholicism is the fulfillment of Judaism. So don't say that religion is man-made. The Church was here long before the bible was.

  • Jesus didn't institute Catholicism... The first century church (under Paul the apostles teaching and the disciples' leadership) was NOT Catholic. Catholicism began centuries later and was not in agreement with the original teaching of the first century church (i.e. they have the apocrypha in their Bible --a collection of writings that the early church agreed was NOT inspired.) There's no such word as "Catholic" in the Bible... So you can't say with all honesty that Jesus Himself established it.

  • chozenchick, you know not of what you speak. The first century Church was Catholic & it was under Peter not Paul. But Paul & the other Apostles were a huge part of it as they were among the very first.

The word "trinity" is not in the bible either but we believe it. The Catholic Church was the one that came up with that word.

The word Catholic was first used around 110 AD by Ignatius of Antioch.

You better do some research before you speak nonsense. You have no clue.

    Peace & Love in Christ

  • 1Hope4All, I'm sorry to inform you that you are very misled. Anyone who's read through the book of Acts (even the very basic Bible scholar) knows that James was the leader of the first century church --not Peter. Over half of the New Testament was written by Paul the Apostle -so he had more than just a "part" in it. Even if what you're saying were true, how do you explain that Paul actually even rebukes Peter for his actions(in the book of Galatians)? I have no clue? On the contrary. Seek truth.

  • # Matthew 16:18

And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.

  • Matthew 16:15-18

He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Simon Peter replied, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." And Jesus answered him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

    it's all about the context!

  • If you were to study this passage (Matt. 16:15-18), you would note that in the Greek writing the article to which Jesus is referring to is Peter's statement directly before verse 18 --professing that Jesus is the Christ and the Son of the living God... he's not referring to Peter. You've got to take scriptue in context to understand. Also, the name "Peter" is translated "stone" --but the word that Jesus uses for "rock" refers to a boulder. There is an obvious distinction between the two.

  • chozenchick, I'm tremendously excited about your zeal for Jesus and Truth. Praise God for that! I just want to share some things that I learned in my endeavor to understand Catholicism in a deeper way. You are exactly right about Paul rebuking Peter and correcting him, but Paul did not rebuke what Peter was teaching -- only what he was doing. In the same way, you may rebuke your doctor for smoking, but it does not discount the medicine he is practicing. Moreover...

  • Jesus spoke to Peter in aramaic thus using "keipha" in both instances when speaking to Peter. In other words, Jesus spoke "You are keipha and on this keipha I will build my church..." Yes, Peter was human -- he denied knowing Christ during His last hours! But Jesus, knowing all, knew that we needed a prime minister here on earth to govern the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic church that He established so that She (the church) would not go wayward in its teachings on faith and morals.

  • I don't mean to stir up any anti-Catholic sentiment that you may have in your heart if there is any. It is my prayer that Christ's church on earth would truly have the visible unity that Jesus prayed for in John 17:20-21 and that Paul describes throughout his letter to the Ephesians -- oneness in faith and all aspects of that faith. For just as Jesus and the Father are unified in all aspects of faith and being, so too should Christ's church on earth be unified.

  • I appreciate your gracious and thorough response. I would like to point out that the words used to differentiate between "Peter" and "rock" were in fact distinct... "keipha" meaning "stone" --but the word used for "rock" signified a boulder --they were not synonymous. I agree that a church leader was appointed -but it was James... not Peter. That is most clearly seen in the book of Acts. I harbor no "anti-Catholic" sentiments, I merely wanted to set the record straight. Thanks 4 the response tho

  • Praise God for this dialogue! He is very much at work in your life, and I pray that He continues to move in your heart and life towards fulfilling His mission for you in this world. I want to share something I learned from Pastor David Stark from Grace Presbyterian Church in Redding, CA. Greek: Petros = Aramaic: Ke'pha' ("Cephas"). Of the three times KE'PHA' is used to translate PETRA in the Gospels:

  • [1] in Mt. 27:60 the parallel passage in Mark's gospel (Mark 15:46) more correctly uses SHU`A' to translate PETRA.

[2] in Mt. 27:51 the word KE'PHA' is used to describe the rocks (plural) which were broken at the earthquake when Christ died (and hence, these rocks became movable).

[3] the other passage is Mt. 16:18 where KE'PHA' is used to translate both PETROS and PETRA.

This is a tough exegesis that many throw at Rome, but the tougher and more real issue at play here is Authority.

  • Many non-Catholics heed Lut
