I am quite impressed, I play baseball so this is cool. What I like most is that the mechanics of the robots swing are very good, that's exactly how you are taught to hit. I think it could hit farther if they allowed it a way to follow through the swing some how. Very nice and very interesting.

I'd like to see the robot have an array of movement sensors to judge the speed, position & distance of the baseball. At the momment it seems to be very primitive, replying on human interaction and judgement to hit the ball. Still, nice mechanics, just need to sort out the electronics now :)

Would be nice to add 3D vision sensor camera and artificial intelligence to fully automate the process. Add a dash of self learning routine and after a couple thousand swings, you get a .750 electro-batter. Nicely done guys !
