  • Pffft you think that's far? I have been stretching everyday for 20 minutes for 3 months now to get my splits, and I am still way further than that. Then again, I am 21 years old, but still pretty young.

    I'm just starting to learn the box splits. I can do front splits almost flat (2cm off), but these seem really difficult. My hips seem like 'lock'.

    I'm a guy...I wonder if this affects it?

  • @craggydodaggy being a guy shouldnt really affect it too much, its slightly easier for girls to do it because they have wider hips but keep to a regular stretching programme and maybe look at doing some dynamic stretching first thing on a morning and you should have it down within a couple of months or sooner depending on what your like now.
