- 0:44 It isn't a 'boomer ball' it's named a 'pipe bomb'

- The pipe bomb, or how you say it: boomer ball, isn't new in L4D 2, it's already in L4D

- 1:16 that's a tank, not a charger xD (the tank is already in L4D too)

- 1:46 just edit the settings... and don't cheat of course :D

+ Finally someone who calls them infected, and not 'zombies', because after all, it are infected people and not zombies (yes I'm talking to you IGN)

i love playing this game on a big tv, dark room, with 3 other friends on splitscreen campaign on the hardest difficulty you really have to have good communication and strategy and getting through a single level feels like a huge achievement. 8/10 is an understatement

when it comes to buying these games (part 1 and part 2 ) is it necessary to start with part 1 if you've never played it? is it relevant to the second one? the guy at gamestop told me to stary with part 1.....but there is no story mode.....so i dont' see a point..... i feel like i should of just baught the second one.....feel like im missing out.....what do you guys suggest? keep playing part 1....than buy part 2?

@MrNothing43 I dont get it, no matter where you go gamestop workers just always feel the need to "help you" by trying to persuade you in what to buy and not to. Im hoping dead island will be good but expect it to just be a first person point of view of dead rising which is a fun game but i find it to get boring pretty quick. So hopefully they will do something special to help it stand out also would be nice if it has a good story but doubt there will be any story.

@MrNothing43 actually, left 4 dead is a game made by valve, and valve usually NEVER has a 3rd game in a series, now the only exeptions are when they have half life 2 episode 1, episode 2, and the yet to be released episode 3, but theyre all part of half life 2, left 4 dead however, is standalone, and will probably nevfer get a 3.

Nope, I'll be honest, the game isn't even that great on the console, it's more of a Pc game to be honest. It even feels like one. (This is coming from a Counter-Strike source player too which uses the SAME engine nearly)

I think 8/10 is a bit harsh, based mostly on not being that innovative over the previous title. Should have been 9/10. However, if it is up to me, it's 10/10. L4d2 has the most addictive multiplayer and combine that with all the DLCs that you get for free on the PC and the fact that it's only 5 euros on steam atm, you'll definitely get so much value for money.

Ofcourse, this review is quite old and hell, even I missed the old characters and atmosphere, back then. Gameplay is much better tho :)

@ianmarvinchu If you lag on L4D 1 or 2, set up a game with 'Invite friends only', then change it to 'Public' once you're in the lobby, put the connection type to 'Local', and now people can join your game, and you will be the host, so, no lag, none at all, not a sausage.

Mass Effect 2 takes the longest but you'll only play it once. Left 4 Dead 2 has online, so you can play it for AGES. Saw has cool grimey dark graphics, but is like Mass Effect, you'll only want to complete it once. And Darksiders, well, Darksiders just sucks to be honest, don't get it. :D Go with Left 4 Dead, or Mass Effect 2.
