Another excellent tip. When a race throws you a curve, learn to use your hands to guide you into it without turing your entire arm. Makes it easier to cut threw the wind too.
Sometimes I see ppl run with their arms totally down and still. They look like zombies, but I guess whatever works for you...

I was once told to move my arms "cheek to cheek". Pretty easy way to visualise/remember it!
