My first thought was that this bill is going to be bad for the insurance companies. With the billions in extra costs they're going to go bankrupt. But then I realized that there is no way a corporate whore like Obama would let his campaign financiers go bankrupt. Expect massive government subsides that will fill the pockets of the insurance companies.

I agree that HC in it's current proposed form, violates basic principles upon which the constitution was founded, but when you weigh that against other policies, such as the dept of education - illegal and preemptive wars - implementing of the Fed - the 16th amendment, that have literally dismissed the constitution entirely, I'd say a tax penalty for not adhering pales in comparison.

To defend insurance companies is, IMO, to buy into the smoke screen debate of free market vs. excessive govt regulation. This is blatant corporatism in full swing. Obama had to be reserved during ACT I of the Health Care Reform initiative due to great pressure and needed compromising with the controllers of our economy, the Insurance Companies. I just read that social security payments will exceed contributions in 2010. The accountants for social security said it wasnt supposed to happen till 2016. So how much is that healthcare program going to cost us again?

I think their plan is to eventually bankrupt the private health insurance industry then the only available health insurance will be through the government. The President said in a speech a few years ago that his goal was for there to be single payer health care in the US. Bankrupting the health insurance industry is surely one way to accomplish that goal.

I agree that HC in it's current proposed form, violates basic principles upon which the constitution was founded, but when you weigh that against other policies, such as the dept of education - illegal and preemptive wars - implementing of the Fed - the 16th amendment, that have literally dismissed the constitution entirely, I'd say a tax penalty for not adhering pales in comparison.

I respect your opinions and enjoy many of your videos. But I think it's important to put things in proper perspective. To defend insurance companies is, IMO, to buy into the smoke screen debate of free market vs. excessive govt regulation. This is blatant corporatism in full swing. It is not a question of how much the govt. regulates business, but rather the degree to which govt policies are regulated by corporate influence. Insurance companies are now guaranteed 30 to 50 million new customers.

The answer is that yes the heavenly father does bless america in the "endtimes". However too often a person asks for a "blessing" with something in their limited human mind state of understanding, and this is very often not spiritual in nature, but the blessing can seem troublesome when it does come, but in the end it works toward the spiritual uplifting of the askers. Obama had to be reserved during ACT I of the Health Care Reform initiative due to great pressure and needed compromising with the controllers of our economy, the Insurance Companies. The real Health Care Reform will be completed during ACT II into his 2nd term. Here we'll see, Canadian style, universal health care. Yes, it will be paid by taxes, but NO ONE will have to worry about medical care!

I do not think most Americans feel they are being represented. If that were the case our representatives would have voted according to polling. They represent the money intrest that keep them in office.
I could be wrong but I thought Americas Health care system was the best in the world. Better than the socialized countries you speak of. But I guess that is about to change.

The reform doesn't change the health care. It just changes how we pay for it. It'll be even better once everyone has insurance. Costs will go down for everybody.

I think their plan is to eventually bankrupt the private health insurance industry then the only available health insurance will be through the government. The President said in a speech a few years ago that his goal was for there to be single payer health care in the US. Bankrupting the health insurance industry is surely one way to accomplish that goal.

I did not realize how divided the American people are over this issue/law. We have had free healthcare coverage all my life in the province I live in up in Canada here. But my understanding is that Obama's healthcare plan is quite different than what we have. MOT I am curious about your constitution. Is there some place I can read it online?
